I am worried. I think its a hostile crowd and Valencia will by cynical and try and rough up the younger players. Can't call the outcome with any confidence

Yup very tough game this will be. All part of the experience for this young and growing side though whatever happens.

Nick yeah there are plenty of fast trains from Norwich to London. It's two hours from Norwich to Liverpool St station

Do you get good crowds in most bars you watch footy in? Specifically Chelsea fans?

If you get people out to bars to watch football they tend to be pretty passionate. It's just the nature of it out here. We don't have the numbers of other countries and it's a bit more work, a bit lonelier when looking for football company. So when we find a common place to gather for it it's usually those who have driven from far or want to see what it's like to be around those with a common passion.

There's always a few knuckleheads from your way that make it out as well. Adding to a sense of authenticity. Finding time now is so difficult

For me this is a game where we shd start with Kova, Kante and Jorghi

I've watched Chelsea in New York a few times and for league games there are normally good crowds not so much for friendlies. I remember once watching Chelsea v Arsenal there once and the numbers were quite even, maybe slightly more Chelsea. We lost but we were singing at the end of the game and left well after the arsenal game. I got back to my aunt's late and missed a Broadway show (kick off was about 8 am) didn't really want to go to the show anyway.

When I've been there for friendlies there's always been a good show from the locals, I see Net York, Atlanta, Philly blues and they tend to introduce me to fans they now. It's great fun, do it if you get a chance.

Yeah biggish could be right but we will need plenty runners too. We controlled the first game and didn’t look like scoring most the match.
Dunno if a counter attacking approach would be better ?

It'd take me less time to get to SB from my place, but I don't see it as an attractive proposition these days both financially & time wise...used to go all the time when I lived in London area

We've got to get at them Nick, on their own pitch,they tend to be assertive if they can,if we can shove them back,they are likely to make mistakes.

What the others said. Depends on where you are, ko time, opposition

Even if there's a supporters group in the area, no one shows for say Burnley at 430a and few if any pubs will open for it. Arsenal or Spurs at 900a however, pib has to hire on security/does wristbands.

But areas that are less populated or without a formal group you might be on your own

Especially with the coverage is becoming more fractured. Need a couple of apps to get all (most) of the matches. Bar/pub won't generally do that unless there's a group I think

A bit obv but first goal supremely important

Yeah, at my mum's in the wilds of Wisconsin I watch games the basement and only recently as they've only just got satellite, not because if tech but the trees surrounding them they couldn't get a decent signal.

I hope your mums as far away from soccerlol
as possible JFDI !
