Obviously still playing on his mind, think too many people are ready to jump on his back while the mental scars heal.

Just putting the inury aside for a moment, this is still a 19 year old kid. Not evert player develops at the same rate..............so injury or no injury, those rushing to judge him are foolish in teh extreme.

However, I am angry at him for leveraging the club and also at the club for for agreeing a ridicoulous contract for a young player who is so unproven.

And it has done him no favours on the pitch as it has brought too much unwanted added pressure to the lad. But, he is gonna have to deal with it, it can't go back in the box now.

CHO's got to prove himself a man now, I hope he does, and I'm sure he will,so, come on mate, prove you're worth it !

yeah cho has made a rod for his own back a little bit, he really was a fan favourite last year.

Most of us on here judge players on their perfromances and try not to get too tied up in off the field stuff and personal favourites imo but thats not how the average(especially twitter)fan acts sadly.

in regards to his on the field performances, im more than willing to give him time, still young, had an injury, just wonder if cup games etc are his level or if he will kick on, leveraging a deal for a ridiculous contract as you say has given him less leeway for development time and performances.

he'd started 8 games for the first team and got a contract of £120,000 a week gotta commend his hustling abilities if nothing else.

Yeah that's what I was thinking as well Brum. Coming back from an injury like that isn't easy. The fear of aggravating or even re-injuring any serious previous injury can be a real problem. Psychologically as much as anything else.

We clearly haven't seen Cho at anything resembling his best yet since his return but we will. Hopefully the Forest game is a start but I think it will take more time. Might even have to wait until next season after he's had a good preseason under his belt.

On a side note I wonder what our kids are worth compared to a year ago

Tammy - £50million?
Mount - £50 million?
RJ - £40?
CHO - £40?

exciting times.

That injury potentially almost screwed his entire career given the timing

I'm happy to give the lad time

He works the shot and killer pass well against lower opposition. He can learn how to get them off against better

agree blarmy.

btw has anyone seen dont fk with cats? wtf!

Yeah I think as fans we need to put aside his wages now. This is modern day football where players are paid crazy amounts of money.

I'm not over the moon with how much he's paid either for his age but I think most PL footballers are vastly overpaid now. Bang average PL players get paid obscene amounts.

At least with Cho he has the potential to be something special. And maybe in time we'll look back and realise it was a good deal for us. I'm certainly not going to judge him on a couple of months of playing after coming back for a serious injury.

If RJ is worth £40 million at this point I'm pretty sure he'll be worth two or even three comes that amount a couple of years from now.

Tammy £50 million at this point sounds about right. Especially when you add on the English tax.

tbf if anyone wanted tammy we'd demand atleast £100 million but im trying to be objective.

Well yeah mate, we wouldn't sell Tammy now. Having a striker that can actually score goals has been a bit of a rarity for us in more recent years. We need to hold onto him for dear life

I'm fully aware how great TAA is

I think he is breaking new ground at full back for how productive they can be

But Reece is a generational talent and I've never been more sure about a youth player

Bloody ell. That was money well spent

Case closed. Don't want to hear anyone moan about Cho's wages from now on. At least he actually plays football for us and has potential as opposed to Drinky sitting on his backside for 125k per week for a couple of years here

Yeah will be very interesting to see how both players develop. At the moment everyone is obsessing over TAA and rightly so as he's been brilliant. Let's see where we're at in two or three years time because Reece is only going to get better.

In fairness to poor old Drinky think we contributed to his downfall somewhat. The club brought him here when we had a manager that clearly never wanted him and that pretty much set the tone for his Chelsea career.

Just hope the club have learned lessons from that. If there's little to no communication between club and manager regarding new players coming in then what do you expect.

I think it's just obvious when you send a player to a championship club and the local paper says he is probably the most talented player to ever turn out for the club in their history

Even if it is Wigan
