You seem to be disagreeing and agreeing with me at the same time hereAlso there is a difference between a pitch being laid and being bedded. I struggle to see the point of your comments.

I kinda am. I think no one for sure can say we could not have played on 15th Sept, because we don't know but the official line is we could. We can't look at the grass or seats or anything else and say 'look it still aint done now' because it was a very tight deadline and once it was extended all work programmes would have been revised to allow for the extra weeks/months.

According to the official website of the turf providers, it can be played on next day ! wouldnt fancy that though but it could have been done a few days before official KO.

Its going to be amazing when its done though.

Yup

And in the grand scheme of things, 3/4 months longer isn't much. Also big projects always overrun - the company will always announce a delivery date with like no float, just for the sake of motivation & to maximise increase of share price.

ADT will be ones in the firing line from Spurs.

Their Sub-Contractors will be in the firing line from ADT, if some case of wilful damage can be proven and I presume will also be liable to ADT if they failed to follow the clear instructions that they were given.

Palmers, with regard to whether there is actual evidence of foul play of whether it was just the opinion of my engineer, I'm not sure, but I would imagine that if such evidence exists then ADT will be well aware of it, which is presumably where he had heard it from.

Morning Summer. Not sure that is the only reason, but may be partly to blame, there still seemed a fair bit to do other than that when I went down there a month back. I was on to the ticket office this morning enquiring when the Chelsea tickets go on sale, and they said they were not sure yet, as they were not sure where the game would be played. I wonder if this is an indication of them trying to get the ground open for Chelsea, although that is just over a month away, so very much doubt it will be played anywhere but Wembley.

I have always had it in mind that the Stadium would be opened for Man United on 12th January.

That was not what I said, that was what we were all told was going to happen, so I posted accordingly. I had always maintained personally that the New Year was going to be the probable date. You yourself thought it would be open in August.

And frankly trolling back through posts is for juveniles. Grow up.

You just made up the whole thing, 1 because you're insecure and want to impress with "ITK" gossips, and 2 you've picked Spurs to exact your inner self vengence to get some kicks.

If this was true, the alarm system could be fixed within a month and the project manager overseeing the work would've noticed the issue way before every alarm was installed

Trying to hoodwink us with your Levy is a "cheapskate" tag

Don't believe you - whether you give a faack or not.

Morespurs why are you having a pop at Summer, who is a very respected member of the Forum, he is merely putting an article up giving one of the reasons for the delay. Good article.

The electricians would have worked to the plans provided to them. If someone higher up had made a mistake was trying to pass the book and the sparks who did the actual work hadn't been paid then that would be a good reason to trash the alarms.
