Enjoyed watching the games in the international break. Derby are my deepest love but I dearly want the national team to do well and I think the international game is hugely interesting right now and England at an absolutely pivotal point. Great to be able to watch some of our players on duty for other countries too. Reminds me of times of yore when we had a smattering representing all of the home nations.

Back to business though. Wilson Marriott Lawrence as the front three. Bryson Johnson Mount as the middle three. Probably Curtis still on the bench. Only question for me is Malone vs Forsyth and perm seven from seventy for the bench. Eight days in which Lampard stamps his credentials on this division or we drop into the herd. It could be the most important week of the season.

What did they do to you in Sicily ??

Climbing Stromboli at night was the highlight Ang. Most amazing walk I have ever done. Looking down in to the crater and watching the eruptions. Behind me on mainland Sicily there was massive electric storm over Etna and above me the milky way. A truly magical night. The descent in the dark was a bit hairy but a few litres of beer in Ingrid's bar soon calmed the nerves. It's something you must do before you get too old.
