His goal in the Skol Cup Final epitomised him.
First game back after a broken leg, which he recovered from in record time, scoring with an overhead kick to win the cup.
He was the best I've ever seen at losing a marker. Never the most gifted with skill, but one of the sharpest in the box I've ever seen.
Always a legend.

Didn't see enough of dalgleish or souness, just a wee bit before my time.
Genuinely world class at his peak and tragically underused for Scotland.
Nobody has come close to his level since.

Ally McCoist World Class, no offence but gtfeven Ally wouldn't agree with that.
No better than many decent Scotiish forwards, McAvennie, Durie, etc.... and worse than Jordan, Wark, etc...
