I think RLC will be a good good player for someone but not us, he doesn't suit the system and sarris philosophy. Along with fact he's competing with kovacic who is in my opinion very close to world class, kante who is an unreal player and jorginho who is basically un droppable under sarri as he runs the entire game for him. RLC is challenging Barkley for a rotational/sub role but I feel Barkley suits how we currently play alot better than Ruben.

So yes it's great RLC scored a hat trick but let's not all get carried away and start comparing him to Messi and Ronaldo and saying he should start Sunday etc etc

What makes you think Kovacic is world class? He's good at dribbling and passing but doesn't offer much in terms of assisting and never looks like scoring for someone who is playing the advanced role out of the 3

Great awareness on and off the ball, good in the tackle, strong on the ball, great dribbler, agree his goals/assists needs to improve but I feel that will come with a run of games, the guys hasn't had much regular playing time before us and I feel his stats will improve with more games

Has anyone (apart from Wahl) ever actually touched another man's Johnson in celebration of winning a football match? It seems a weird leap for me - a brief hug is about as far as the jubilation will carry me.

I think his lack of goals is the only thing not making him world class....I think he is the best technical midfield player I have seen in a Chelsea shirt well apart from Jorginho

Not just because he scored a hatrick last night but I think it will be absolutely tragic if we don't find a spot or some kind of useful role for Ruben in this Chelsea side. Someone is going to benefit hugely from having him in their side. Just hope it's us.

The funny thing is a lot of his movements around their box and surges from deep with the ball were indicative of a false 9. A lot is made of RLC's lack of being compatible for a traditional position, arguments can be made to play him in midfield, on the wing or behind the striker, maybe up front in a false 9 type of role is his position. If we had a manager like Bielsa there'd be a chance he'd start at CF next game

Harsh on MOL, best team that has come to the bridge this season, really stuck it on us

It wasn't his movement no one was marking him, he was given free reign...………….it was a gift

fabregas will be gone in jan or next summer imo.
