Currently Modric is better then Wilshere but Wilshere has the potential to be better then Modric.
Apart from Modric there isn't any other player in the Spurs midfield that is as good or could be as good as Wilshere.

Most Spurs fans don't call Wilshere average - though if he fulfils his potential he might just make that grade

Sandro will probably be Brazils DM at the next world cup, he is simply immense and is about 21, if that.
Modric is a far far better player than wilshere.
Parker is at least as good a player currently as Wilshere.
what are wilsheres strengths that make him so good exactly. he has a good touch and a good pass.. thats about it... if you can point out any superb goals, or assists that he has scored, or some incredible covering tackles, or show of exceptional aeriel ability, temperament, strength or speed then i would be interested, but you cant, because there arent any.
