Honestly, I’m not in the least affected by the goings-on at Leicester: it’s never a cause to celebrate the death of a human being and especially not one as altruistic as their chairman was to the local community BUT...

...I’m not part of that community, don’t know anyone who is, and Leicester were, are, and always will be the club that cheated repeatedly to the extent that the whole game had to be regulated to stop them. I don’t feel a shred of sympathy for their fans en masse, only those people who knew those deceased personally, but otherwise I’m just starting to get a bit bored of the wall-to-wall media coverage.

Bring on the Chelsea, let’s give them a game and try to win this thing. The greater our success under FL, the more likely it is we either extend the current loanees’ tenures or at worst we position ourselves to be offered the best of another crop next term. Great to see the team playing without fear, save for those moments that Keogh’s near the ball.

Regarding our loan players. Mount, Tomori and Wilson are all going to be good players but unless we go up this season we don’t have any chance at all of any of them being here next season. Even if we do go up would Chelsea and Liverpool loan them to a team fighting relegation? Serious question I’ve been asked by a forest fan is how does Derby benefit in long term plan by loaning these 3 players at a cost of over £6m. Apparently Chelsea have taken in over £25m in loan fees in the last 12months. Over 30 players have been loaned out by Chelsea in that period.
