Nigel will be well up for this one and will have Burton primed. They have nothing to lose so can play with a kind of carefree attitude in a way. Hopefully that’ll play into Forest’s hands and they can pick them off on the break in a similar fashion to the Bolton performance last week.

Need a bit more oomph in midfield. I would like to see Soudani have a go in the number ten role. Carvalho was desperately poor for the most part in getting hold of the ball at Leeds. I would take the opportunity to have a look at alternatives.

If Forest can nab an early goal like they did at Bolton and Leeds then it would take a lot of pressure off. Burton’s best chance is to get on the front foot early on and see what pressure they can put on. They’ll try to get in Forest’s faces so it is a question of whether the Reds have got enough about them. It would be a real downer if they lost at this stage with the quarter finals in sight.

Would like to see a bit of Yacob now. Could be the combative presences that gives Forest the kind of bite they were lacking as the game wore on against Leeds.

Who plays Centre Forward though, surely Grabban will start on the bench tonight, perhaps come on for the final 25 minutes?

This Govn obviously are not giving thiis guy from Greece a work permit, so we should forget about him.

Tonight would have been a chance for Brereton if he'd stayed.

Question is are they good enough or fit enough to defend and press us as well.

You would think not, but look at who they've already beaten.

At home with the crowd behind them, they should be able to find the energy to compete. They’ll be comfortable in their own surroundings. They have given Forest two good games there and taken four points as well so they will know what is required to get at the Reds.

Does highlight how short of options they are. I guess Soudani could play the lone man role if they support around him is right.

I think Soudani will play some of the match as striker.

Steele
Janko Hef Figs Robinson
Watson Bridcutt
Cash Lolley Osborn
Soudani

Hopefully Yacob, Yates, and Appiah might be given a chance from the bench.

Forest to win 0 - 3

Pantilimon, Grabban, Robinson, lolley, Darikwa, Yacob and appaih on the bench

Hope Dias and Goncalves are ready for this one. It is going to be frantic.

Atleast we have the bench to change it it they don’t will 👍

Really hope bridcutt nails it
Likewise if Steele puts in a MOTM job, it might be that pantilimon has to worry about his spot

Good to see Bridcutt in there again. Chance to show he is an option?

I expected to see Smith on the bench, I would like to see him get a game with a better defence in front of him.

-I suppose Smith has time on his side whereas they want Steele match ready in case they need to replace Pantilimon any time soon.

One match ban enabled

Feeling confident now looking at that team as long as they apply themselves properly. I reckon it’ll be 2-0 to Forest.

Not many there?!

It's supposed to be a sell out Baz.

Certainly doesn’t look it, not in Burton areas!!

Quick question, as Colback picked up his 5th booking at Cheats United on Saturday, does tonight count has him serving the ban, or does it carry to the Blunts at the weekend ?

posted on 30/10/18

I don't think tonight counts.
