I would agree with this.
I think County are the favourites and catching them might be a hard ask after giving them a big lead. Hoping for some points to be dropped in El Kessocko at the weekend. I would expect Ayr to fall away at some point but you never know, especially if they can keep Shankland fit.
I don’t really follow lower league football, but there is an ayr of inevitability about the title race now, as I wouldn’t county on the 2nd place team being consistent enough. If the 3rd place team remain united then they could put a good run together, but the 4th place team could well end up being a thistle in their side. QOTS - No One Knows.
Etc.

Wouldn’t be surprised if a couple of Premiership clubs are looking at Shankland just now with January in mind, his goals record is incredible. Nervously optimistic about Utd just now, as Ivan has said before though the danger with County is that their chairman throws a bit more money at them in January, and they already have a good start on us points wise.
Will Ayr be allowed to play at Somerset Park if they get promoted?

The last few years have taught me to be immediately suspicious of any hint of optimism.

Yes it feels like I’m setting myself up for a fall!
Are they worth a bet for winning the league?
