Shame, both are very important parts of this squad.
This is terrible luck for them, I thought they were both doing well for the team and will be missed.
I suppose we will see now whether Jozefzooom is any good, like Spart I have grave doubts of his capability. Roll on January when we can get some reinforcements.
Gutted for Forsyth. Hope he comes back from it. Unlucky having 3 serious knee injuries.
Weird to think that not too long ago we were all scratching our heads at the sheer size of the squad and wondering how to keep everyone happy.
That's unbelievably unlucky for Forsyth, like Griff says hope he comes back from it...
Time for a young lad to step up. Let’s seehow good Wassalls academy is.
It's Malone's for now. BJ as cover, Lowe recalled in January?
There’s enough cover so we don’t have to recall Lowe, he’s getting game time up in that Sunday league
Bennett, sadly, doesn't seem made of the right stuff. Fozzy's 3rd ACL now too?!
Can’t believe some of the nasty comments aimed to Forsyth on the internet
Forsyth has served the club very well and I hope he recovers to serve again. Its vert padlock for Bennett. Frank was believing in him, he had scored his first goal in a long time and was putting in some pretty good performances. he must have believed his loyalty to Derby was beginning to pay off. May he also recover quickly.
Padlock? where the hell does it come from? Bad luck for heaven's sake

Cohen did the same thing 3 times, each occasion they lose a bit.
I remember the medical team trying to change his method of tackling to try and protect it but never really worked.
Long term injuries are the worst part of the game
Really feel for Mason as he has just at last felt part of the party and contributing.
Fozzy is Marmite with many but has made plenty of important moments already this season but as it has being already highlighted another injury like this has to be a concern long term for Foz.
I'd say that's Forsyth's Derby career over. Similar to George Thorne.
Hamstring tears happen and they heal. Michael Owen had plenty in his career. Just one of those things. Bennett has had his best period for us under Lampard and he’ll contribute plenty this season. Lots have written off Josefzoon, mainly those who have written off players previously on very little evidence and have ended up scraping the egg off their face. Early season he looked dynamite, lately he has looked crap. He should at least get more game time now to have a chance to show what he can do.
Forsyth has put in some very good displays indeed this season. He recovered well from his last ACL to return stronger so there is no reason to think he won’t do the same. Not time to draw round the tent and send for the humane killer just yet. He deserves the best wishes of all Derby fans.
Callum MacDonald has looked decent to me when I have seen him. I wouldn’t mind him being Malone’s understudy, at least until January when we can think about whether Lowe should be recalled or not.
Flo Jo looks like the type to start a game, not an impact sub, Lowe appears to enjoy being a starter so now that he has one for competition as a starter may tempt him to come back and fight for that spot now that he is getting regular game time under his belt but I still like Malone there for now.
Would love Gorgeous George to be given another opportunity first team, when is the question?
It's what he's paid to do.
Perhaps give Shaun Barker another crack at captaining the side. ? He was a good player once.? I wish all these injured players the best of luck, but we have to get a grip on our heart strings and move on.
Three acl injuries in four years to our apparent first choice left back, will not get us promoted. I'm sure Craigs 10k a week will take the sting out of his injury.
Shame for Forsyth as he was winning me over again but to be brutally honest I cant see neither not being available affecting where Derby finish in the table

To what loyalty are you referring too Ramdini?
Well Bush, he's still here.
I don't remember anybody clamoring to sign him, do you?
He's had a couple of unsuccessful loan periods in the lower divisions and IMO hes very lucky to be still at Derby
I have no doubt in my mind he will be playing his football in league 2 at best in a few seasons time so for you to say he's been loyal is way off the mark, if anything Derby have been overly loyal to him
I think Frank had given him a new lease and fancied him as a useful Championship player. He had some useful attributes, such as being quick, strong and persistent in his efforts. And I think he's had very bad luck. OK he wasn't perfect but who is? I wish him better luck in the future.
Lampard clearly has a different opinion to yourself, Bush. People who have no doubt in their mind about things are wrong more often than they are right in my experience. I agree loyalty is the wrong word to use though. Derby have stuck with Bennett when he could have been ditched and so far Bennett has probably had the better of that arrangement than Derby. I think he’s done enough this season to justify his inclusion in the match day squad. Time will tell who is the better judge of a player, Lampard or Bush. If he keeps getting injured he won’t amount to much, that’s for sure.
