Yep they are a totally different side than the one we played last season.

The new manager has really got them playing excellently.

Going to be tough

Tough game but it was expected

We may be playing at the two stadiums with the biggest “walls” 😁

It won't be the same as when we last played them. They've taken it up a level and have been brilliant. Saying that, we are more than capable of going through. I just really hope we get to play this at the new stadium.

Do they play with pace now? I've not seen any of their games tbh.

I'm always wary of pacey teams against Spurs.

Sancho, Rues and Pulasic

Was hoping for Munich or Real - both slower, aging teams. This will be tough but hey, what tie isn't at this stage!

Real tough one.

They are a quality side. Bayern are not the force they were (although improving form now) but BD are well clear at the top.

I think us beating them last season will help a bit. When they came to Wembley they were so full on attack, it was almost disrespectful! Anyway, it cost them and we easily deserved a point at theirs so they wont under-estimate us. Should be a great encounter!

They’ve been exceptional this season and are one of the most on form teams currently.

It’ll be a hell of a tie. Both teams will be attacking, expect goals!!

Exciting. But I’d say they are favourites.

They have pace with Sancho and Pulisic but it's their overall link up play and finishing which has been quality. Marco Reus seems to have put injury in the past aside and back to the player he was which is a brilliant footballer.

Great though isn't it, after all those years of being stuck in the Spursday night ropey league this is what its all about.

Trust Liverpool to get the weaker German team.

Dortmund is not too bad a draw, considering the teams we could have got I'm fairly happy. Not saying it will be easy though!

Dortmund may be top, but the German League has dropped a level. Bayern are not nearly as good, although they should beat Liverpool, who are useless away from home.

Sonny's got this

They've been in great form this season, but just glancing at results it seems to have dipped more recently.

In September they beat Nurnberg 7-0 and Leverkusen 4-2, and October both Atletico and Stuttgart 4-0.

But in the last month or so most results have been much tighter, with 1-0 and 2-1 wins commonly.

I may be clutching at straws, but it's possible that this tie looks very different in February than it does now. Dangerous team, but thank God it's not PSG or Juve.

It means nothing if the top 2 or 3 clubs are still quality. Dortmund finished their group stage with 14 points and beat Atletico 4-0 in one of those.

To be honest at this stage you just need to face whoever comes your way and enjoy the moment. Every game will be tough.

The German league is a joke. Didn't only 2 of their teams top their groups? That's pathetic.

posted on 17/12/18

Any team that can thump Atletico 4-0 is going to be dangerous. We will need a big peformance in the home leg.

City got Schalke, not Liverpool

Man City and PSG happiest.

Roma will be happy considering who they could've drawn.

Really interesting matches overall.
