Tottenham Hotspur’s fixture list between February to March next year looks like this:

13/02 - Borussia Dortmund (H)
23/02 - Burnley (A)
27/02 - Chelsea (A)
02/03 - Arsenal (H)

Dortmund this season are better than the inter side that Spurs only knocked out by away goals so I expect them to lose quite easily.“

Stick to your level in the little Europey league, whilst let us big boys discuss the major games coming up in the CL.

Spurs should have walked both the games vs inter but like to make hard work of things. Dortmund are doing brilliantly but I wouldn't right us off.

Reasonably happy with the draw. We avoided Juve, Real, PSG and Bayern. I'd have taken Dortmund over them even if they are playing very well.

We’ll also have a couple of new players by these games to help us along🙄

Spurtle, totally agree mate. People can talk all they want about Dortmund waking the league, but they just don’t possess the same aura as a Madrid, Bayern of Juve. They will be an incredibly tough nut to crack, but I would of taken them over any of the huge guns. I still think Bayern Munich are a better side.

They don’t look it this season.

We’re halfway through the season mate. I fully expect Bayern to grow some form and get closer to them by the end of the season. Dortmund are a very good team, but it’s winnable.

Don, I think the experience of winning things for those teams counts for a bit in games like this, when they play teams that don't have the experience of winning stuff i.e. us, hence our record in cup competitions when facing the big teams.

Another things is with Dortmund top of the Bundesliga by a few points, their number 1 priority should be the league.

Still I'm not expecting easy games. Good as well though that we get the second leg away.

There seems to be something really wrong at Bayern this season. I read only once has a team oveturned a points difference of nine points in the Bundesliga at this stage, which was Wolfsburg over Hoffeinheim back in 2009.

But Dortmund is certainly winnable, and I do agree about the aura thing in the CL, so I can understand why Dortmund is a better draw for you even if on the face of it they look the better team.

Exactly Spurtle. Keep a clean sheet and win at home, then all pressure on them in the 2nd leg.

Yes but it’s a couple years away from him being in the first team

Am I right in thinking Pochettino is more reluctant to throw academy players into the team now compared to at the start?

I’ve seen it mentioned by quite a few Spurs fans in the last couple of seasons.

I don’t think it’s reluctance it’s just we have better players now than we did when he first joined.

Skipp made his debut on Saturday and he’s only 17.
