I think it could either mean two things, that Poch is using this as leverage to up his contract and wage budget in the summer at Spurs or he is genuinely wants the Utd job in the summer. Personally I think it’s the latter because no offence to Spurs but he will regret not joining Utd and becoming a true great.
———————

United is a poisoned chalice and some of their players absolutely stink.

Sanchez having a £20k bet with Royo that Mourinho would be sacked, and gloating on Twitter.
Pogba smirking immediately after the sacking saying José picked on the wrong “baller”.

Poch doesn't do egotistical, and why would he abandon his style to go to United and put himself under immense pressure trying to rebuild aclub in turmoil.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Or he rebuilds a massive club. The denial you lot are showing is ridiculous. Not saying Poch is defo going but to think he won't cause united have had a few, by their standard, lean years is beyond naive.

Would United consider Klopp for its next manager?

----------------------------------------------------------------------

It wouldn`t be up to you. If a bigger club come calling, then Klippoty would jump at the chance to manage the 13 times Prem champions. He would be off like a rocket, given the chance.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No he wouldn’t. Liverpool and Utd are on the same level in the football food chain.

As if Poch or even Zidane could get a tune out of Pogba or Sanchez is laughable.

'Now listen here you two! I will play you in the reserves if you're not careful'

'Pogba I bet you 20k this piece of sh*t is out of here before me'

Poch could put this to bed if he wanted to...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah, he only has to say I am committed to this project and will not be moving to Man Utd.

How hard is that?

If Wenger, Pep, Conte, Allegri and whoever coached Chile and Udinese can get a tune out of these two, why can't somebody else?

It would be very easy for Poch to say he will be at Spurs next season but then that is not up to him either. What if results start taking a down turn. Anything could happen behind the scenes away from the pitch. 7 months is a long time.

Why should he have to say anything about the future at Spurs or another job?

posted on 21/12/18

Because they are finished. Destroyed by the money of United and the high pressing game of PL 2018.

'Those are the players who are most vulnerable when they lose confidence their game is based on that and having that feeling to take initiative, he has lost that slowly.

"Since the start of the season Sanchez had a high level of physical energy but he has lost that as well." - Wenger

United are a giant of a club, to say otherwise is quite frankly ridiculous.

As for Pochetino, I’m not sure if he will leave spurs or not but he has already shown that he is willing to leave a club for one with a higher status when he left Southampton. With both United and Madrid in the market for new managers, I would be a bit worried if I were a spurs fan.

Spurs are heading into a depression.
Poch will go and so will Alderweireld and a few others.
The replacements will not be like for like and they will slide.

We got Giroud for Van Persie. Its painful.

Its not fair but the game died a while ago.

Why waste energy rising to it, it`s a complete non story and is being treated as such.

Next.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

When it comes to managers being linked to a club like United it is never a non-story, because the majority of managers in the world will want the job.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
10 years ago maybe, not these days pal, it`s just the masses of bitter ex United mugs in the media and their fans that think this is still the case.

It is quite amusing that the little spuddies think Poch will be loyal to them. He showed none what so ever to Southampton.

Maybe Levy has told them to wum United and lead them up the garden path, have you considered that.

Levy hates doing business with United for obvious reasons and won`t take kindly to more of their tapping up.

Difference with that is that Spurs were better placed than Southampton at the time. You're talking about a manager that will have to drop down a level if he goes to United.

He decided to leave Southampton when the man that took him their was sacked and they sold off all their best players. No similarity with Spurs whatsoever.

posted on 21/12/18

Spurs, rightly so, had no issues about taking him from Southampton so why is it inconceivable that he'd want to move on to a bigger club again?

If he's loyal to Spurs and wants to finish what he started then fair enough, much respect for that, but for that to happen I feel Levy will have to dig deep and show Poch he means business.

This speculation in a way could be good news for Spurs fans as Poch could use it in order to get more funds.

It is daft though to think he couldn't be tempted by an offer from United (or elsewhere) as it's just how football works.

posted on 21/12/18

Stop making excuses. He will leave Spurs when a bigger club come calling.

And yes United is way bigger than Spurs.

If it is any consolation, I am not that bothered with the guy.

I'd be wound up too if some plastic ruin of a club kept asking for the manager of a far better team.

The Spurs fans are wound up. Poch is just a number of coaches who we could hire. Zidane, Blanc, Jardim, Allegri all have been touted as possible choices.

The journalist are just linking him more due to him being in the PL, it makes a better story than the others.

The press went one about us being after several players in the summer and got only Godin right.
