Oh, and we’ve not awarded ourselves the league at all. The vast majority of us believe that City are still the favourites. We merely think we have a chance, which considering we’ll be top at the half way stage, isn’t really ridiculous, is it?
But if you need to keep making things up to make yourself feel good, then crack on 👍

10 games ago Spurs were 1 point behind Liverpool.
5 games ago Spurs were 3 points behind Liverpool
Now Spurs are 6 points behind Liverpool.
Those 10 games since included games against Chelsea, Arsenal and Man City, plus cup games away to Barca and Arsenal. Liverpool over the same period have only played only a poor Man United at home. Let`s see how the next 10 games pan out.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What are you on about? last ten league games we played Arsenal and Man City.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
ArsenalSpurs beat them on their own patch just a few days ago.
You haven't played City in your last 10 Prem games.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Arsenal was a one off cup game. What relevance does it have to the league?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well last season you lot waffled on about reaching a CL final, which was also all about one off cup football. You cannot have it both ways fella. What is it league football or cup football? Usually when you are behind Spurs in the Prem, it is all about the CL, now you are in front it is all about the Prem.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
?
Id rather reach a CL final than have any of Spurs finishes in the league in recent seasons..
Again Spurs will NOT be top of the league at any stage this season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Except on May 12th when it actually counts.
Honestly you scousers make me laugh. Season not even halfway over and you have already awarded yourself the Prem trophy, and dismissed every other team.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Nope not even on May 12th will Spurs be top.
Spurs will not be top at any forthcoming stage of the season.

In order to catch Liverpool up, realistically we'll have to a) get some big wins under our belt to alter the goal difference, b) win at Anfield, and c) not lose as much as we have the first half of the season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Add win at city to the checklist 😁
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah. Probably need to do that in order to catch City too.

ok it was 11 games back.
Whatever way you look at it Spurs are 6 points behind Liverpool.. having started level at the start of the season.
Spurs still have to come to Anfield.
Spurs will NOT be top of the league at any forthcoming stage of this season.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Spurs having to go to Anfield will hold no fears, if you can go to Barca and Real and get results, why would going to Anfield bother Spurs? Especially as they are currently the best away side in the Prem.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
Liverpool are the best home side in the prem
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Spurs are the best away side in the Prem.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The only way to factor that is a an average points to game ratio. Doing that, are spurs top? Genuinely don't know.. .
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Er funny the other day, one of your supporters put Liverpool top, because they had the most points.
Spurs have the most points, so yes they are top, I have never seen any table in world football ever, where they put teams in order of points to games played.
