A long way to go yet. If Liverpool draw against arsenal then City can close the gap with the next game.

Maybe so but the teams I've mentioned have done it already. Won multiple trophies year after year. I'm not saying that City can't go on to be the best team ever in the league but as of right now they are nowhere near.

Really? Mind blown.
pool could very easily lose to arsenal and city and suddenly they'll be tied for 1st with spurs and city 1 point back.
theyve got a great cushion but some huge games coming up

To be fair Melts is a decent poster and always up for intelligent debate.
Depends on your parameters. A lot of people, myself included, proclaimed them the best on the basis of their title winning season.

Even if they win the league they still couldn't be considered the best without winning other trophies as previous teams did.

To be fair, I can honestly say I’ve never heard a city fan say that. I’ve heard them say our season last year was up there with the best ever (which given the amount of points and goals we scored, I agree with). I’d agree about as a club and squad over a couple of seasons, we have to at the least retain it though.
If we play like we have recently against Liverpool, then we’ll lose again. The only real hope is if we keep all the players (that are either out or not fully fit now), fit tip the end of the season, as then we can replicate what we played like last year. I highly doubt it though.
Well, apart from Delph. Him being injured would probably help us at the minute...
Tbf after the season they had last year,.a month ago it would have been reasonably warranted.
Spurs will win multiple titles, and be the best Prem side ever.
Southampton are a side revitalised. Could very well get something against City
We’ve never seen a team reach 100 points before their 17/18 season, your point OP? They’ll rightly be talked about as one of the best PL teams ever for that alone, chill on the bitterness.
You seem to think best team = best team over a number of seasons. You moan that other teams have won doubles when this season hasn’t even finished yet and they could well win the double/a CL.
The season is not over yet but regardless they set the highest ever points total, most wins, most away wins and most home wins with the longest winning streak and most goals.
As such people called them the best ever Premiership side.
Mental.

what exactly are they bottling? 4 of the last 5 league winners were by teams who were not favs to win the title, if anything their staying true to form

He is not claiming anything though. Just pointing out that labeling City best PL team ever is a bit early considering.

Well anyone wou
They had a phenomenal season. Best ever you’re having a laugh. Teams have juggled the premier league and champions league and won it same season. 100 point or not, that is the benchmark for me
City's team last year was the best in the premiership ever
Then followed by the side jose inherited from Ranieri
Then United 2008-09
