Keown? The fk?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Started 3 PL games in that season, only just about qualified for a medal racking up 1 minute sub appearances
We had Sol and Kolo forming a great partnership, and he picks Keown

Why is it that it’s opposition fans going on about Liverpool going unbeaten?
There’s still a long way to go and the chances of it happening are slim.

Why wouldn't Arsenal fans talk about it? If somebody gets close to equalling your European cup haul then I'm sure Liverpool fans would be talking about it.
You're right, there's a long way to go and the chances are slim, but you're on course and Leicester have shown us momentum is everything. Until you lose it will continue to be spoken about - surely that is a good thing?
Forget being invicibles. We never even won the league for donkeys years. If we lose our unbeaten run I have s feeling lots of opp fans will be gloating etc. But to be honest for us it only about trying to win this Damn thing.
I personally feel we will lose at least 2 times this season. One will be againsy city and the other possibly against Chelsea
Campbell should be there ahead of Keown, Keown was more of a squad player that season, Campbell and Toure was our recognized centre back pairing.

Won 26 and drew 12.
The city side that won the title last season was a better side in my opinion.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
How much did Man City spend though? we only spent like £3 million in Summer 2003, then we did sign Reyes in January 2004, the premier league was also far more competitive in the 90's and early 2000's compared to how it has been in recent seasons.
The invincibles achievement is also a lot about luck. Points is best way to judge how good teams are.
In the Invincible season we got lucky in 2 games, Portsmouth and Man U but we were unlucky in a lot of games too, we conceded late equalisers against Leicester and Spurs, we were 2-0 up against Spurs and missed sitters, we had a few 0-0 draws where keepers had blinders against us, Henry also missed a sitter in the last minute against Man U in the 1-1 draw in March 2004, so we probably should have ended up with 98-100 points that season.
