Not really right though that Chelsea sign a player, then loan him straight back. You either sign him or you don`t. Complete nonsense spending £58 million then not wanting him to play until next season. Sorry, but I don`t get the modern game.

After the negativity at the start of the season, and given the challlneges we’ve had with a lack of pre-season, no additions to the squad, stadium delays, injury crisis and now speculation about our managers future, the following would constitute a good season for me, and I think is highly achivebable:
1. Top 3 finish
2. Carabao Cup win
3. One new, good quality signing in Jan
4. Eriksen to sign a new contract
5. Get into the new stadium by end of Feb

Yeah, cant blame him. You know Levy has probably put 125K in front of him and he knows he could get 200K elsewhere. World class players come with world class pay demands.... sonner Levy realizes that the better. We are playing a dangerous game with Eriksen because as soon as he gets a decent offer (which he will) levy will be scrambling and we'll all be pi55ed off again !

I think Eriksen is not holding out for the money but I think he wants to see how ambitious is the club first.
I think he wants to win trophies. It was clear in his last interviews, when asked he said he was hoping Spurs would win some silverware.
