Interesting to see how quick to react Ole is, or what he changes. Different game for him so far, but I'm confident in the options we have and that we'll get the goals needed.

With better luck we could have had 3 goals and then it died down.

Still think we’ll break em down just the final ball/part of the attack needing to click, love how in games like this the defence is called resilant/great when in fact we’ve had the opportunities but just messed it up ourselves, nothing to do with the defence

not been watching it but Newcastle have had their chances too havent they? according to bbc Atsus been in a few times?

I think Mata stays on until Newcastle start to show any kind of attacking intent.

If they drop even deeper as they tire, we'll want Mata around the box.

All that is missing is the early goal. Completely changes the game and approach from the opponents. Had we got yet another one we'd have probably got 1 or 2 more too by now.

Newcastle happy playing defensively and on the break. It's up to us to break them down.

That's been the same the last three games.

Nothing to do with why we aren't ahead.

Ole needs to make a few changes.

Valencia, not overlapping well and still leaking. True Jose form.

Good news is we have Sanchez and Lukaku on the bench

So some good options and something that is good to have

We'll still win this. Said 2-0 before the game and I'll stick to that.

Valencia, Jones and Lindelof have been crap

Hopefully we see Sanchez for half an hour. Lindelof has been fine

I would give it 10-15 mns if it remains the same Matic off for Sanchez and Young on for Valencia

True, but he made up for it

We've been overloading down the left for literally years. Lots and lots and lots of sides do it.

It absolutely amazes me that people don't recognise we almost always purposefully set up with an asymmetric formation, and that doing so has been a recognised tactical approach in the game for years.

Fear there could be a bad injury the longer Lascelles stays on the pitch.

Mata and Valencia are making the right hand side non existent this game.

Sanchez and Young on for both of them please.
