Not a straight forward 1st half there.

Some nervy moments, and Newcastle started to grow into the game.

We look a bit off the pace tonight.

Matic making some silly minor errors with miss placed passes, and Valencia offering virtually no attacking threat as per usual. It'll be interesting to see how Ole tries to switch it up for the second half.

Lingards effect clear to those who always knock him.

I would go for Young and Lingard as the changes.

Sanchez has been out for a month so who knows how he'll integrate into the side today, would be nice to bring him on in a situation like last week but that's not what we have.

I'm not talking about the tactic of having the man on the right hand side playing inside.

I just think Sanchez/Lingard are better equipped for this game.

Need Lukaku on for Rashford. Need that presence in he box.

We have got no space whatsoever in the attacking third. Lingard is very poor with little space and gets knocked off the ball to easily and his distribution isn’t good enough offering little in terms of creativity. Sanchez above him all day long for me

Don’t forget Lukaku. Good option off the bench and offers something a bit different. Would be worth a tenner for him to score in the second half

If we score or Newcastle open the game up at all, I'd switch Mata for Lingard.

If not, I'd keep it as it is across the front line. Think about Sanchez later on if we can't unpick the lock in the next 20-25 mins.

How w4nk is Phil Jones. He has not progressed in the 7 or 8 years he has been here AT ALL. If anything hes worse. Absolutely stealing money from the club. Disgraceful

There's no need to panic at the moment. It wasn't as good as we've seen so far under Ole but we're still trying things and I'm confident we'll breakthrough.

When Newcastle are out of possession, they make it hard for us to penetrate through the middle. They are comfortable with forcing us to the wings and especially the right side as there's less threat coming down there.

We need to move the ball quicker and stretch their defence.

They don't concede much from open play apparently so I think patience is a virtue in this game.
