Very Mourinho like performance

I always thought klopp played him more than he deserved

He should have no complaints with the chances klopp gave him

posted on 5/1/19

You actually offered him a new contract?

posted on 5/1/19

Yup we sure did Daz. Only thing i can think is we were looking at just tying him down as cheap back up so we could spend more money in other areas of the squad.

Very happy Moreno was dumb enough to speak out against Klopp

I can’t really laugh, I suppose. We did the same with Fellaini.

Remember Jose Enrique?

Had a rare brain tumour removed a few months ago. Claims Chris Hughton gave it him.

Saying a player should leave is one thing

Saying a guy is a ‘terrible footballer’ is encroaching onto Idiocracy territory being that that footballers job is to score goals and did so.

As RR said, maybe some players deserve more respect than they get. Or else we’ll waste our lives on here yearning for a perfect world of 22 world class 1st team and squad players which will never happen
----------------------------------------------------------------------

No fans deserve more respect!

Going around telling people that they are terrible fans because they care enough about the club to want to see better football is ridiculous.

Lukaku's job is to play football to a particular standard, if you think his only job is to score tap ins then your standards for a club of Man Utd's stature is lacking. Furthermore it goes to show how completely out of touch you are with the culture of the club. Almost all of your footballing opinions contradict the very fabric of this club. Your support for limited players and pragmatic managers is indicative of how you view football. You think this sport exists to serve functions like scoring a goal or winning a trophy. Sports exist to entertain, once you entertain then you can build the foundations of a winning team. I'm sure you'll be happy when people stop attending Old Trafford because our football makes them more miserable than there real life problems.

The concept of 'support' is attending games, in thick and thin.

He’s rash but nowhere have I said he’s terrible and he should leave the club

Honestly is all I ask for - and Lukaku is not a ‘terrible’ footballer. Nuance is something I expect from you of all people

Called for Pogba, Martial and De Gea to, though.

So are fans of league 2 clubs suicidal?

Seriously, what a glory hunting comment.

Martial - only because it seemed like he wanted out. And may still do

DDG - he once upon a time very much wanted to leave. And still may. Once he signs a new contract then I have no issues with him - same for Martial

Pogba - most had issues with his aptitude and it looked like he didn’t care. He’s stepped up and if he shows this commitment regularly then by all means I have no issues with him

Commitment to the club is all I ask for. I would have had zero issues with the idea of Fellaini going if he managed to find a new club. But he stayed and wanted to so he gets my support

Martial and Pogba want to stay, problem was the toxic manager. But you’ll readily throw them under the bus. Lukaku’s aptitude has been questionable as well, but you still suck him off. You have no right questioning people’s support based on their comments on an online forum. And all because people don’t rate your favourites and want them out the club.

You don’t do yourself any favours when you take this holier than thou attitude, Rob, because your posting Has continually contradicted it.

Defend shiiiiit players all you like, but you lose credibility questioning people’s support.

Didn’t robb question the players when things were going bad under Jose too and said they should leave?

I could be wrong but i certainly remember someone posting that it was the players fault and not Jose’s and they should be shipped out.

posted on 5/1/19

Of course he did. Same under Moyes. Ah man I remember the stuff he used to come out with about club legends like Rio, Vida, Evra and Rooney. That’s why it’s hilarious when you read this shiiiiit from him.

Calling footballers ‘terrible’ is weird especially when they had a decent game and scored a good goal

I don’t expect anyone to hero worship these guys but to accept their good points as well as their bad points

I have no issue with people saying Lukaku has a poor first touch but having watched the whole game today there were much more good touches than bad. To read the match thread it would seem to someone who didn’t watch it that Lukaku was atrocious and maybe it’s just the lack of truth that I have an issue with

Wasn’t on JA in the Moyes era sadly, so missed all that.

I remember his post a day about how LVG needed to leave, which is why it was so funny with all his “get behind the manager” posts about Jose

More lies. You are always going off on one when people say it. You’ve even tried to argue he doesn’t.

His defence of Moyes was even worse than Mourinho, Tiddles.

The stuff he used to say about our players that season was child’s play compared to anything he’s said under Mourinho, or anything anyone has said about Lukaku and Fellaini.

I’ve said it’s not as bad as people say. I’ve only ever argued against it when people say the whole game was spent with him chasing the ball which isn’t a true reflection of what actually happens

Fair enough, I was a nobb back in the Moyes days but I’ve learnt from my mistakes and am now a stand up guy just trying to bring a bit of balance to the force

Definition of terrible is relative.

For example the Derby 07/08 side weren't a shiiiiit team in the context of the overall football world but for the level they were playing at were abysmal.

Is Lukaku a rubbish player literally speaking? Obviously not, but for the level (i'm assuming) United want to be he simply doesn't cut it.
