I fancy Brighton to turn over Liverpool.
Gonna do a £20 treble tomorrow...
- West Ham 5/2
- Leicester 10/11
I've yet to pick the third tho any tips?
I havent seen any of brighton this season, looking at the table and their results and i dont understand why i keep seeing people say they think they'll beat us, is that because of our last 2 results or brighton are playing really well? The results dont look remarkable

New Year, different performances. Stop being so touchy everytime somebody tips up Liverpool to lose. You take it far too seriously. Brighton are decent at home, Liverpool have lost their last two, Brighton definitely not a 9/1 chance.

The champions away in a game they had to win, well done. You did say 4-0 though
And even I thought we would go out to Wolves, we were always going to play a mixture of youth and fringe players while they went strong.

Definitely a game where Liverpool have to show they can handle a loss and bounce back. Not going to lie I’m nervous! We also seem to hate playing in January.
Gotta love Sandys optimism though, sure he had Liverpool down for a maximum of 4 points in December. See how that turned out.
But if you predict a loss every game eventually you’ll be right. Guess even a broken clock is right twice a day.
Think the game of the weekend should be spurs vs Utd, tough one to call too. Utd resurgent but yet to play anyone of note and spurs starting to look good in front of goal but after 5 losses already far from convincing.
Liverpool to drop points with a draw, then we will go all spursy and also drop points, it’s what we do.

Decent post mate but I don`t quite get why posters keep saying but Spurs have already lost five. The league is a points based enterprise, not how many games you lose. Spurs have not drawn any, which pretty well offsets the five losses, and puts them within two points of City and just half a dozen off the top. Spurs may not lose another game, we don`t know, they could go all season without a draw, say lose another three, and still end up with 90 points, which will be all that matters come May, the final points tally.
I would have definately said a Spurs win on Saturday, a couple of weeks ago,but to me they looked blown out against Chelsea !,and Man U have got rid of old sourpuss.

I wouldn't take a lot of otice of the midweek game mate, Spurs have often performed like that at Wembley over the past 18 months. I think they still have plenty in the tank.

Can’t argue with the facts and not drawing has kept spurs in touch like you say. I think its less the points aspect of the losses, though you are right from a accumulation point of view, more that spurs have shown they are more (not to be confused with easily) than beatable. Not drawing any would keep you in touch but over the course of a season would probably still leave you in 2nd or 3rd if the losses keep coming. Still like you say that the future and purely speculation.
I hope my nerves about tomorrow are proved wrong but can honestly see us drawing, which when you are being chased can be as bad as a loss.
Honestly couldn’t call spurs vs Utd. I think you are rightly favourites but it’ll be no walk over. Am looking forward to a cracking game and hopefully a draw (oh the ironyπ)
