Been looking forward to this game more than any for quite some time, I'm not sure how to call it but I'm leaning on Spurs because they are a very good team and aren't coming through any changes like we are.

I do hope that there isn't a huge over reaction to this game. I feel the two teams are at a competitive level with each other with Spurs edging it overall but of we won, it doesn't mean they are bottlers just like if we lose, it doesn't automatically mean Ole is out of his depth.

With the two teams as they are, this match could very much be win, lose or draw for either side and I think we as fans are guilty of reading too much into things.

Sometimes, there are moments that go one team's way over another or a specific player has a blinder etc and it can be the difference between two top teams. Spurs are a very good side and you can get everything right but still lose because they have players that are good enough to win games through individual brilliance or a collection of a few just being at their best.

I actually have very little pressure, I appreciate we could play very well and still lose, it isn't so much about the result (though a win is huge for us) but the manner of it. If we lose 4-3 in a game where it could have gone either way, I can accept that.

In short, regardless of the result, I just want us to show up and put in a shift. Play well and whatever the result, there's no need to freak out or panic. This could well be a brilliant game for neutrals.

Ole: “We want to see progress from the first few games. We want to see a team that defends well because we’re playing against a very good attacking team. We want to attack quickly because we have pace up top with Jesse, Marcus, Anthony - Paul to join in.”

Solskjær: "He (Alexis) is not ready yet. Hopefully, or I think so, he will be training when we get back. Maybe on Wednesday he will be in full training. He is just having a hard time getting rid of it. Maybe next week he could be involved." #mulive

Every time we play Spurs it reminds me they have a fascist regime running the match thread.

I’m all for looking out for your own, but that’s just ridiculous

Jones is midtable at best.
He is awful and has not progressed in his career here at all.

Pogba has been directly involved in 7 goals in the 4 PL games under OGS - Son (8) has more PL goal involvements in that period.

Rashford should get behind Vertonghen and Alderweireld, when Spurs take the high line.

I'm more concerned about Son than the rest of the spurs front in terms of goal chances

Time for Jones and Lindelof to shine today

Best United line up I’ve seen in years, all things considered.

Not necessarily the best team we have, but it’s good to see the hierarchy has been adjusted (Fellaini)

It's ironic how Mourinho never knew who his best starting 11 were

Don't go looking for him. Just be glad he isn't there.

Maybe Phelan chucked him out the emergency exit on the bus on the way over.

Ole: “You’re playing against one of the best strikers in the world. Son is unbelievable, Eriksen is one of the best playmakers around. We’ve got to defend and attack with balance
