Fairly even game for me. United's attacks were less but looked more calculated. Some very poor misses from Spurs in the second half. Some good goalkeeper and perhaps Pogba would have seen red on another day. I don't think he meant to rake his studs down the opponents legs but it still happened and therefore could have been punished.
All in all I think United deserved to win, if anybody did. They looked much fitter. Spurs appear to be running out of steam and the injuries are picking up as they struggle to cope with the small squad and load of games, after doing nothing in the summer.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Clueless
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Go on....
Kane and Alli shooting boots on and that is 4-1, may be 4-2 if Utd took one of their half chances.
Even Llorente could and should have scored at the end there.
Good win for Utd but on the balance of play they were a bit lucky to take all 3. Lucky Spurs' finishing was poor.

I have to say, it's quite hilarious to see this rivalry between Spurs fans and United fans emerge relatively recently
There was never this much bad blood between both sets of fans, but over the last few months, there seems to be no love lost.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Really?
Can’t say I’ve noticed other than a bit when Poch was linked to Utd

They see us as a threat maybe.
Sky haven’t been happy since the traditional top 4 was broken up by Spurs and Man City. I remember when Sky used to do the Super Sunday where you would have Arsenal vs Lpool and Chelsea vs Man Utd for example.

They called it Grand Slam Sunday

Second half we were fantastic but shocking finishing cost us totally smashing them. Kane out is a huge worry

Didn't a similar thing like that happen against Wolves recently?

United deserved to win because they were fitter?
Tottenham Hotspur players not good enough to kick a football slightly to the left or right of a goal keeper for a whole hour and a half. Is that United being rubbish or Spurs being rubbish at trying to kick a ball between two sticks?
It 'should' have been 6 or 7 1? Why couldn't your players kick a ball slightly to the left or right or a goalie then?
Let's use your logic on MUFC. MUFC should have won 25 league titles and 12 European cups, cause I swear we battered teams we 'should have won'
If you want to say Trippier is the reason we lost then fine. It's obviously not the whole truth but he was rubbish in defence and an error of his led to the goal.
However he wasn't the reason we didn't win. That was down to poor finishing. Both Kane and Alli were through on goal and hit it at De Gea.
sandy, you think you should have won because you should have shot better .
de gea was good but no wonder saves. seen him play better. dont know how you think it should have been 4-1 when utd had good chances to score and didn't. doesn't it work both ways?

You're talking about a guy who thought we were going to win the title this season and may even still. Of course he was going to think we should have won today 4-1.
Good game and Utd rode their luck second half.
We have been clinical lately so it was a surprise to see our finishing so poor.
Utd have always had the players it is just now OGS is getting the best out of them, they have real pace up top which will give any team problems.
As for us I am concerned for our injuries, really didn’t need sissoko getting injured as cm is a problem position and if Kane is out what with son going on international duty then we could be facked.

I wouldn't have been as concerned about Kane were Son still available, since we have shown we can cope admirably without Kane, and in truth this season he hasn't been at his clinical best, although he's been great outside the box. Now without Kane and Son it really is leaving us weaker. That's our 2 best goal scorers this season out.
Spurs shots on target and goals in recent games ➡️
United 11/0
Cardiff 4/3
Bournemouth 7/5
Everton 8/6
We’d actually been punching way above expected, Today it certainly evened out

No.
Don't know how disappointed to be with Kane. Obviously DDG had a great game but Kane had good chances. He scored in each of those other games with maybe fewer good chances, and today he had 3 great chances, which is also rare against United, and each one DDG gets to.

You can't be too mad, it looks like it was exactly like our game against United at home last season when we had shot after shot and DeGea just kept getting in the way. We ended up losing 3-1 i think but it could easily have been 4/5/6 to us.
one sided?
in the first half United shouldve had 3, spurs didnt hit the target once.
pogba couldve had 2 before your late onslaught.
youre letting the last 20-25 blind you tot he fact United shouldve been long into the distance before your guys started testing De Gea's footwork.
What a mug. Crusssty blind facker.
Ole ole ole.

Just watched the highlights again, and if anything the game was even more one sided than when I watched it in real time. Spurs had more chances than United even in the first half. Other than the goal United only had another couple of chances, Spurs had a dozen or so. United will not get a luckier win tis season.
Well I expect this to be deleted as Sandy has a serious lack of nuts... But what a moronic post.
How could spurs have dominated from start to finish... yet we had 13 shots throughout the game.

Yeh mate you opened up Spurs time and time again only in your dreams. Spurs dominated the whole game, and the stats back that up. United had two or three chances all game, Spurs had dozens.
