I wouldn't be surprised if some of the games go off this weekend Silver
I seen Cowdenbeath asking for volunteers to help cover the pitch this week ahead of their game against Rangers. I expect other teams will follow suit.
Fingers crossed all games go ahead.
I don't really follow lower league football, but the title race could end up being rather exciting. Usually there is one team that is clear of the rest, but it doesn't look like any team is good enough to do that this year. Also us signing Ross County is probably doing United a favour. I notice Shankland has not been playing recently. Is he injured or is someone signing him?
Goran
Shankland is apparently genuinely injured.
The whole league is actually quite interesting at the moment (depending on how you define interesting to be fair). It's looking like one of those leagues where anyone can beat anyone, which as you suggest indicates that the quality isn't great but at least makes it exciting.
Falkirk and Partick are getting a little bit detached at the bottom now with Alloa picking up points, which I'm not sure many would have predicted at the start of the season.
Good to see you guys close the gap mate.
Do you still have to play County and Ayr twice?
Our next league game is Ayr away
Fairly massive match
We still have both to play home and away before the end of the season.
April will be fairly tense - we play County away on 6th April then Ayr at home the following weekend.

Yeah this weekend was another where I looked at the fixtures and couldn't call any of them. Went for 5 draws as I do every week at 500/1 but wasn't close this time (it came off a few weeks ago).
It is just depressing the lack of creative, skillful players around these days, just generally, in Scotland.

schiting it to play ayr away from home
small team mentality if ever there was one.

I worry the academy's coach it out of them. It's almost like football by numbers - pass here, you pass to him, you pass to him, and so on.
Every team should have a wee tricky winger - it's what Scottish football used to have in abundance and I miss it.

Lex, I hope so mate.
I like Neilson, I think he's a good coach and I think he'll do well. Unfortunately he's lumbered with some amount of pash and it's why he needs backing in the transfer window - but with that comes risk, particularly since we do have a bloated squad as it is.

Current odds to win the league:
Ross County 1/1
Ayr 11/4
Dundee United 9/2
Inverness 66/1
9/2 for United is proving popular. Similar to Rangers at 7/2 which is equally as popular. I'd say United have a bigger chance of winning the league than Rangers though.
pffft
at least united took their relegation like a man
not like aberdeen years ago

Was my first game in a while at Tannadice and it was brutal viewing. At £22 a pop it becomes difficult to justify working over 2 hours to cover it. Especially as I enjoy my job more than watching that pash.
Safranko was so far ahead of any United player it was embarrassing to watch. Great hold up play and not one sausage ever attempts to help him out, making brilliant runs into space and the ball gets shanked out for a throw-in.
Oh and the full-backs. Deary me. Funny to think the most recent good left-back we've had is arguably the best in the world. Murdoch is ok defensively but there were occasions where he had the entire half of the pitch to run into and he just stayed at right-back, refusing to give the team an attacking option.
Booth is abject. His only attribute is being infinitesimally better than Robson. Also probably not a racist drink driver.
But we won. Yay.
So Ivan you coming through to Montrose?
