Just to clarify, I didn't actually hit the complain button, just pointed out the sexist mysoginy that failed to be funny on any level.

If somebody actually complained, it wasn't me.

I can't believe johnnypigliarmessiah (U18773) emailed Admin1 directly and bombarded his home address with letters demanding that Ace was banned. That's a bit desperate.

Sizzle no doubt. He is definitely in the "we need to silence every dissenting opinion if we are to have a tolerant society" camp.

Not me, I prefer to take people on directly.

But he filtered me!

Half the comedy circuit better give up the gig i guess.

This world is pathetic nowadays when it comes to faux outrage, every fecker is offended by something

Not really. It helps of what you’re saying is funny. I’ve always thought coming out with something offensive under the guise of being funny is lazy. The great comedians don’t have to go down that route. Why he Bernard Manning whenyou can be Billy Connelly for example.

Ace face loves to be edgy and the thing about being like that is sometimes you go too far over it

He'll be back no doubt and won't change his persona

Do people really think comedians just get up on stage and say something controversial to get a laugh?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Who said they do? But it is certainly a part of a lot of comedians armoury.

But the comedy thing is key here, if something is funny, however controversial, it has merit for being funny.

Fact is, Ace's comments were not encased in humour, and were just offensive. A joke has to be funny, no?

It’s a matter of opinion!

What’s funny to one might not be funny to someone else and so on.

Absolutely agree.

No one has the right to determine what is funny and intention surely has to be a key part of whether the person has done wrong.

Doesn’t stop the comment being criticised but ultimately this is about whether it’s a banning offence I guess.

I would reiterate, I did not complain, merely expressed my opinion
