I was considering doing a similar article but asking the question......
Was Sarri correct in going public with his assessment?
The thing is he also pointed out this wasn't just the Arsenal game. Fair enough but if that's the case, then change things.
I don't see how you can motivate a player who does not fear being dropped no matter how poor he performs.
It's almost as simple as this...
Keep playing Jorginho and hazard as a false 9 and he will get sacked. Absolutley guaranteed. EVERYONE can see it except him, play Giroud FFS!!
If we lose against spurs on Thursday with no Kane, Alli and Son and even Sissoko then he's lost me and he can go for all I care because this squad is easily capable of beating a full strength spurs let alone them missing easily 3 out of their 4/5 best players
In out in out shake it all about
Do the Romany koke and just sack him now
That's what it's all about
yeah I think the riginess in his approach is dismaying, hes effectively neutered hazard hopefully we will have higuain in before the spurs game as he Cleary doesn't like giroud.
Should give him minimum 3 years, he needs time and backing to implement his philosophy.
Get rid off the deadwood and the players who do not want to be here, board should back him in terms of getting the players that he wants and best suit the system.
Absolute waste of time sacking him!!
Hazard is only false 9 because our current two strikers are useless, if Higuain arrives he'll move back to his preferred his position.
Balance in midfield is a problem and also the fullbacks, mainly Alonso.
pains me to say but I think azpi doesn't quite fit this system either, Alonso's form has dipped at a scary rate
Azpi doesn't fit the system offensively as he rarely gets forward and makes overlapping runs. But defensively he's brilliant so kinda makes up for it.
Alonso just gets worse every time I watch it. I'm guessing Emerson doesn't impress in training or something as he never seems to get a chance.
Just to reiterate. I don’t want Sarri to go. He wasn’t my first choice to replace Antonio but now he’s here the part of me that is fed up with the revolving door wants him to stay.
I want him to be less stubborn. I want him to stop effectively sending our team out with 10 men which is what I believe playing Hazard as ‘False 9’ does. And I don’t wanna blame him when CHO goes. Which I fear I will do.
I do think he should shoulder more than “part of the blame” and I think the assessment should have been kept ‘in house’. Using an interpreter means there can be no confusion, can’t even use the defence “you’ve taken what I said out of context”
I can't disagree with anything there Mons. Add to your list of outs, Kovacic back to Real, I can see the parasites from Madrid trying to use him as part of a deal for Hazard. They'll value him at some inflated price and try and get Hazard on the cheap.
He needs to use CHO on a regular basis between now and the summer to try and placate him and get him to sign a new contract.
I'd also like to see Dujon Sterling added to the squad as well.
Maybe he's tried the 'in-house' approach and clearly didn't have much of an effect. So as a last resort he's gone public with his views.

But then why keep picking the same players? It's bollox that he doesn't have alternatives/options. He does!
IMO If a player knows he is safe from being dropped no matter how badly he plays, then there's no motivation possible there.

We had the option to bring Abraham back as well. When you have two such ineffective strikers why would you not bring him back and try him, surely he's no more of a risk than bringing Higuain in!
The players are paid by the club to perform and do their job
Fair play to Sarri for having to balls to slate them and not pandering to their ego’s
The club appointed him and now need to back him and let him clear out the players who ain’t pulling their weight.
Some of his decisions have been stupid but he should stay at least for two more seasons after the current seasons.

Fair point, this is where he's been stubborn by playing the same below-par players week in week out. Alonso, Willian and Jorginho of late have all been poor yet seem to play every game.

I get where you’re coming from, but would you be happy if your boss ripped in to you in front of the rest of your peers? Honestly not the comment that suits the argument
And as I say, he’s pointed out he’s noticed this before the Arsenal match. If that’s true then he’s sent out a message that no matter how poor a player plays he’s not going to get dropped. I think that’s going to be demotivating to the “bullet proof” players in itself.

Agree, Abraham would have been a great option but he wants to go with someone he's worked with before assuming the deal happens. Maybe Abraham could possibly do with more premier league experience that's why I was hoping a loan to Wolves wasn't the worst option
Cho and giroud on Thursday. Gotta be. Last time we looked threatening was cho crossing into morata. Woeful tactics from sarri whose making his own bed here

Alonso I feel his heart is in the right place, he just struggles to play LB, he's better at LWB.
Willian is clearly the top of the most uninterested award as he has been below par practically all season
Jorginho.. don't even get me started on this clown, before you stick up for him actually sit down and see what he does. The answer is absolutely nothing but pass AND even then sometimes his passing is rubbish!? MIKEL was 10 times the player this clown is!!!
Willian is the worst player in our squad until bakayoko comes back.
