He did play well tonight BUT he was playing against a team that is fighting to avoid relegation from the Championship, when he is able to play like that against 1 of the big 6 then I won't slate him.

He's done it plenty of times if we're including Spurs. Barca too.
I'm one of the first to criticise Willian, but credit where credits due he played well today, albeit against poor opposition. CHO was okay, showed glimpses of class such as the goal, but little to no end product today. Maybe it's difficult to concentrate while dreaming of a move away ?
Look at midfield as whole. I'd put Willy 3rd behind Hazard and Kante.

I'm one of the first to criticise Willian, but credit where credits due he played well today, albeit against poor opposition. CHO was okay, showed glimpses of class such as the goal, but little to no end product today. Maybe it's difficult to concentrate while dreaming of a move away ?

I've said this before on here, but Willian is an extremely talented player, but deserves criticism for his inconsistency and apathy.
He too often plays half-heartedly, or within himself and fails to take much responsibly. Which is extremely frustrating to watch when he is both a gifted footballer and has a high level of experience at the top level.
I find this article strange, as he does not really deserve any defending. Much of his performances and behaviour off the pitch warrant criticism. And this has been the case for quite sometime to be honest.
People want to see CHO play over him, as Willian has been given far more opportunities, and for long time now - fail to perform.

I get what you mean about the Willian hate. Lots didn’t rate him from the start and a lot more have turned on him since the Conte tweet.
He was poor today for the most part. His second goal was class though. Tbf nobody played well today. Moment or two of class the difference. Willian’s time at the club should be done. Mad to turn down the Barca offers
