I know both had a good game last night (Lustig and Brown) but we were playing a St Johnstone side who were happy to sit in their 18 yard box for most of the game, so it was easy for both players to get on the ball and up the pitch.
Still unconvinced by both for games where teams will either have the ball, or at least pose a threat to us.
St Johnstone had one shot last night, off target 😂
Bain should've brought a book with him to read.
That said, second half we played some lovely stuff. The movement off the ball, creating angles, the slick passing and interplay.. All fantastic. Plenty of options up top too, but I still fear for us in Europe. Domestically we look like we're going to go on a good run now.. but this weekend will be tougher with St Johnstone on their home patch, and our away form this season.
Did we not play St Johnstone three or four times in a row a couple of seasons back? I'm sure it was them, or possibly Motherwell..
Expect Celtic to sign Jeremy Toljan today, initial six month loan deal.
Yes another good performance and a lot to be positive about given we have some of our "major" players returning soon. What's the story with Boyata and Ntcham are they likely to return soon?
Some good stuff & good goals.
Christie is immense & a rival to KT for Captain in Waiting
A predictable war of attrition last night.
We may as well get used to this at CP for our remaining games.
Lustig & Brown are well past their Best By dates as we all now.
Lustig should get rid, Brown this time next year.
Tell you what though with all these loan deals and Boyata heading out come seasons end we have a major rebuild job on 😱

Not necessarily Silver.
Some Yank or Aussie mob would buy it out.
Calmac, Christie, Tierney, Eddy, Ajer, Johnson, Morgan.
The future's bright...
Ntcham was to resume training next week.
No idea on Boyata, something doesn’t smell right with that one.
Ironically Jozo is a better out and out defender for me but it’s his lapses in concentration and thinking he’s beckenbaur that fluck him. Could say the same about Boyata mind you
Nnh. Thanks for explaining that to me.
Just sat there freezing last night wondering what was going on. It's a very confusing game.
JFK told me the Celtics are the ones in green and white. Is that right?
The guy in the black had a rubbish game. Hardly touched the ball.
Just seen the penalty incident again

Ajer was terrific. Michael Francis O'Halloran can be very dangerous in these types of games but Ajer was always one step ahead of him. He also broke from defence to good effect.
Did you not see him playing last night mate?

sky probably think our window closes at 10.
Shved going back to Ukraine for 3 months is actually not that mental a decision as I thought.
I thought he was going to be plumped to the ressies but he’s going back over there to continue playing until the end of their season in April so it makes sense.
Him and Arzani look to be two very good prospects for next season.
