Totally agree with Chronic

Some of the pant wetting going on from Spurs supporters is utterly pathetic

Reminds me of when I had a ST sat a row in front of some corporate seats and would have different fans sat behind me every week expecting to be entertained, expecting perfection expecting results and would spit the dummy if by half time they had not been satisfied. Pathetic.

Watford are a tough physical team. The sort that takes great pleasure in upsetting the odds. A team that defended deep and with aggression. They were never going to be a team who would roll over and made it hard. Credit to the team and Poch. He made changes and Lucas was an inspired and brave sub. We kept going. Credit to Llorente for showing character after missing that sitter. Hopefully that inspires him a bit more now.

Playing to the last minute. Not letting our heads drop. Not panicking. Late winners. These are qualities that successful teams need. To triumph in adversity. Yet some fools want to criticise our team for having to rely on these qualities in these tough times. Pathetic once again.

Some on here have clearly been watching football for many years yet it is remarkable how little they seem to understand about the game or know what it means to support a team.

What is this drivel?

NO TROPHYS IN ELEVEN YEARS MATE.

We’re not allowed to have an opinion on that?

Oh give it a rest Devonshire ffs. What makes you the worlds greatest fan and on your high horse so much ? Nobody is expecting to roll over teams every game, but when you go out of 2 cup completions in the space of a week after a very frustrating summer transfer window of no investments, then we go 1-0 down to Watford, what do you expect fans to say ? Nothing we say on the match thread is going to impact the game, so what is your problem ? I go to games and I support the side when I am there, I have paid lots of money to be left disappointed at cup semi finals and finals, so you are no better as a supporter then I am mate. Some fans like to vent their frustrations because they care and are passionate. You calling everyone “pathetic” is ridiculous actually.

Honestly chronic can’t stsnd these articles you do, having a pop at the fans all the time. Would of put my mortgage on you putting an article like this up. Of all people to complain about whining and complaining about Spurs? Mate you are the f*** king of it on here. Spurs fans are quite rightly frustrated with the stadium issues and the lack of investment in the squad. 2 last min goals against Fulham and Watford ( whilst great wins) doesn’t change that. It doesn’t change the fact that this team needs serious improvements. I think you need to wind your neck in a little Mate because you can be one of the worse critics on here when it comes to Spurs.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

we all say things in heat of moment... the problem is that once the dust settles you still keep such a scathing and short sighted view. as for having a go at the fans, I get more than my fair share of people having a go at me, but honestly go back and read some of the comments on the match thread yesterday. so cringeworthy.

I think the level of annoyance that anyone has with Poch depends on your personal preferences. I was less than happy with the team he put out against Palace but I regarded Watford as the bigger game so I'm very happy with 3 hard earned points infront of a pitiful crowd.

Alot of our wins this season haven't been pretty but we keep racking up the points, our no draw policy is working out nicely!

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Fact is we played well enough at Palace to get a draw.

We knew the Watford game would be a physical challenge and we had the energy to play to the end.

We'd all prefer to win every game but the bigger picture here is a squad which has been stretched to its limits with injuries and top4 being the priority.

People saw a sub standard LFC performance last night. Take Mane and Salah out of their team and see how they'd cope. Even with them they struggled. City lost the night before. It's a tough stretch of the season and we've been shone of some of our best players. 3 pts is all that matters.

Lloris made a hash of a cross. Individual error. Yet its Levys fault. Or its Llorentes fault. Or its Pochs team selection.

Games last 90 minutes. They ebb and flow. But some here having hissy fits after a poor half.

I will gladly criticise the team chairman manager when merited. Not when we achieve a great battling victory.

Pathetic to think Spurs are a poor half of football away from being slagged off by their own supporters.

The only person I saw criticising the manager, after the battling win was Sandy. The rest of us were pretty happy. Although my thoughts on Levy haven't changed. I did say "Levy out" on the thread yesterday which was more tongue in cheek than anything.

I get the gist of your comments about fans moaning Chronic but the outcome of the last two league games could have been so different. Fulham could have been 2-0 up at half time against us and we scored in the 93rd minute there. Also two last goals yesterday.

We could quite easily have 5 points fewer and be much closer to Arsenal, Chelsea and Utd. If that was the case I think some of the moaning would be justified especially as we have gone out of both domestic cups recently.

We do need to be more clinical though but at least this side has a never say die attitude unlike some on here

Exactly, I don’t think anybody wants Poch out apart fro Sandy. The Levy out comments are something I have been banging on about for years, so why are you using that beat me with a stick with ? Me saying Levy out on yesterday’s match thread was not because we were 1-0 down to Watford ffs have a look at yourself chronic mate, you are well known on here for complaining about Spurs.

If Levy was going to get his wallet out he won't be now after the win and after Llorente has 2 goals in 3. There are no issues in his mind.

I have supported the team for longer than most mate, but what I won`t put up with his players just going through the motions for 45 minutes of a match. I didn`t see players like Eriksen busting a gut in the first 45 minutes, the players hardly won a 50/50. You have to show you really want it sometimes. That is the major problem why Spurs have been potless for a while, the players seem to think they can just stroll about at times, and you simply cannot.

You seem a bit naïve if you don`t mind me saying so Chronic. Ever been to a game and not heard moaning when things don`t go right? All fans are entitled to moan if they think the players are not putting it in. It was being a supporter is all about. You praise them when things are going well, and you give them stick when it isn`t. Nothing new there mate. It has been going on since football was invented in the 1860s.

I've sat in the Paxton and heard moaning when we beat Bolton 4-1. Should have 6 or 7 apparently

Bet you're a Paxton End moaner Sandy.

I’ve not had a chance to read all comments made so far, but my initial reaction is that the OP’s criticism of fans complaining is a typical “pot calling the kettle black”. Chronic, you’re one of the biggest moaners on here.

However, I totally agree that many fans have gone overboard with their criticisms. You wouldn’t believe that we’re sitting 3rd in the PL, seven points clear of second, despite all the adversity that Poch and the team have had to deal with. Tottenham Hotspur should be congratulated by all for our achievements so far this season; by competing with (and bettering) big spending clubs.

Final point, Sandy you gone from being “Mr ridiculously optimistic” to Mr Ridiculously critical (of Poch).

That should have read “7 points clear of 4th”
