Totally agree with Chronic

Some of the pant wetting going on from Spurs supporters is utterly pathetic

Reminds me of when I had a ST sat a row in front of some corporate seats and would have different fans sat behind me every week expecting to be entertained, expecting perfection expecting results and would spit the dummy if by half time they had not been satisfied. Pathetic.

Watford are a tough physical team. The sort that takes great pleasure in upsetting the odds. A team that defended deep and with aggression. They were never going to be a team who would roll over and made it hard. Credit to the team and Poch. He made changes and Lucas was an inspired and brave sub. We kept going. Credit to Llorente for showing character after missing that sitter. Hopefully that inspires him a bit more now.

Playing to the last minute. Not letting our heads drop. Not panicking. Late winners. These are qualities that successful teams need. To triumph in adversity. Yet some fools want to criticise our team for having to rely on these qualities in these tough times. Pathetic once again.

Some on here have clearly been watching football for many years yet it is remarkable how little they seem to understand about the game or know what it means to support a team.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I have supported the team for longer than most mate, but what I won`t put up with his players just going through the motions for 45 minutes of a match. I didn`t see players like Eriksen busting a gut in the first 45 minutes, the players hardly won a 50/50. You have to show you really want it sometimes. That is the major problem why Spurs have been potless for a while, the players seem to think they can just stroll about at times, and you simply cannot.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

There was no lack of effort last night. I think what people confuse this with is Spurs have a patient style of football. We are not a team that comes out of the traps and blows the opposition away in 20 minutes. We are patient and more measure and that reflects Poch's style of play where we control the game and show patience and belief that our quality will bring results, whether in the first minute or 90+3.

The team don't panic but some fans appear to be somewhat incontinent.

Honestly chronic can’t stsnd these articles you do, having a pop at the fans all the time. Would of put my mortgage on you putting an article like this up. Of all people to complain about whining and complaining about Spurs? Mate you are the f*** king of it on here. Spurs fans are quite rightly frustrated with the stadium issues and the lack of investment in the squad. 2 last min goals against Fulham and Watford ( whilst great wins) doesn’t change that. It doesn’t change the fact that this team needs serious improvements. I think you need to wind your neck in a little Mate because you can be one of the worse critics on here when it comes to Spurs.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

we all say things in heat of moment... the problem is that once the dust settles you still keep such a scathing and short sighted view. as for having a go at the fans, I get more than my fair share of people having a go at me, but honestly go back and read some of the comments on the match thread yesterday. so cringeworthy.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

You seem a bit naïve if you don`t mind me saying so Chronic. Ever been to a game and not heard moaning when things don`t go right? All fans are entitled to moan if they think the players are not putting it in. It was being a supporter is all about. You praise them when things are going well, and you give them stick when it isn`t. Nothing new there mate. It has been going on since football was invented in the 1860s.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I've sat in the Paxton and heard moaning when we beat Bolton 4-1. Should have 6 or 7 apparently

Bet you're a Paxton End moaner Sandy.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

No way mate, I have only ever been about half a dozen times and watched a game in the Paxton Road end. Started of in Park Lane 1959 or thereabouts, and then moved up to the Shelf in 1963, where I stayed until they demolished it, then got seats in the East stand mostly, sometimes in the West stand.

wouldn't say it was a large majority Chronic ... most get frustrated when things go wrong

Sandy changes his opinion every day and i wonder if he even goes to games or watches us play
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I have been to more games than you have had hot dinners, son.

You do your fair share of moaning, you are constantly going on about how bad the team has become, and they don`t have the spirit of the 1981 side, so pot and kettle comes to mind with you Weare.

I’ve not had a chance to read all comments made so far, but my initial reaction is that the OP’s criticism of fans complaining is a typical “pot calling the kettle black”. Chronic, you’re one of the biggest moaners on here.

There is moaning and then there are posters with agenda's.

On the match thread you have the reactionary poster who watch the game and say what they are thinking at the time to how the game is going whether that is moaning or happy, and then you get the posters who already have an agenda set in place.

Naming no names but these are Don and Sandy!

As soon as Spurs are losing it is enic out, levy out rhetoric!

Sandy always changes the theme but everyone already knew Poch would be getting the blame from him. Before is was Trippier. It is all very predictable!

Everyone has an opinion but these two never swerve from their agenda no matter how much common sense is given to them from other posters.

Trippier and Poch I am not happy with, so what, I am entitled to an opinion, same as you are. You don`t have to like it, but to call it an agenda is ridiculous, just my opinion. Most supporters have an agenda against Llorente, but I bet they were cheering at 21.50 last night.

like what? I have a go at Poch when he makes basic errors like not changing it tactically until its too late, or have a go at lloris for letting another dolly in... but I keep it specific to incidents and its not backed up by negative agenda. my only agenda is to support spurs and see us to well.

Burghandy, I think my “agenda “ on Levy is pretty justified when I have to witness 2 transfer windows where we don’t spend a single penny, despite the obvious need for investment in the squad. All good getting on your high horse when we are winning, but let’s see you change your tune if all goes to pot.

Everyone can see that Levy has his failings, but if you look around at clubs that where in and around us (and above us) when ENIC took over, you can look at Newcastle, Aston Villa, Everton, Ipswich, Charlton, Sunderland, Leeds, Southampton, Man City.

The top 4 were United, Arsenal, Liverpool & Leeds.

City won the lottery, the others have achieved nothing and most are no longer in the division. The likes of Leeds Villa NUFC Everton have the status and following to have really seen them kick on, like we have, but have failed massively. We sit way above them all with much stronger finances, stability, a productive academy and amazing facilities. If Leeds come up, just wait until you go to an away game at Elland Road. The place is like a crumbling museum.

You have to look at the big picture with Levy & ENIC and see that although we do not splash the cash, our progress has been amazing while others have almost vanished from relevance.

We have to be patient for the next phase, when we move in to the new place and start to take advanatge of that. If you think its probably worth 6 points compared to Wembely, they we'd be up there now, right in the mix.

the problem is that you have had this agenda for years, despite the improvement on and off the pitch under levy's stewardship being huge.

you want us to be taken over by an arab billionaire, as if they are hanging around on every street corner fighting each other to get to us first.

with the stadium and the training ground, plus the long Nike deal, and NFL deal, Levy has basically future proofed the club.

the stadium will be ours for the next 100 years ffs

Not really getting on my high horse. It is you on the match thread when we are losing saying levy out.

I am not saying 'levy in' every time we win games.
