Hopefully Higgy will be a success

Brilliant.

At Napoli he gets Bellini screaming his name to a chorus of roaring fans chanting it back. Now he's simply Higgy. Welcome to England Gonzalo

Can't see Chelsea using Tammy personally. I think next season he'll go to a premier league team on loan and we'll buy a striker for good and maybe.. keep Higuain on as back up

Why is everybody so obsessed with loaning players?

Next season he'll be 22 and needs a proper home to prosper. If we don't want him, he should leave us if he wants to progress his career.

I wonder how many people would be so keen on this constant cycle of loans if it were their career that was being hindered.

Depends if im progressing and evolving .

I wouldn't want to do a Kalas or Piazon but if I was in League One, then got a Championship loan then a PL loan I would see it as natural evolution of my career.

After the PL loan then yes I would either want to be offered a squad place or look to leave.

Personally if it were me I wouldn't want to play for another club apart from Chelsea.

I could probably handle being sent out for maybe one season to a Burton type club but if they wanted to continually send me out to my clubs competitors I'd just pack it in and go back on the tools again!

BrummieBlue, I agree in Abraham's case. Next season is decision time with him. I'm with DL11, he should be our 2nd choice striker next season. But if we don't intend on having him in the squad it's time to let him go

I don't think anyone's obsessed with the loan system. It's about trying to maximize the potential of each individual player and people will have different opinions on what that is.... e.g. considering the amount of gametime he's had this season (which has lead to him becoming unsettled) in hindsight CHO probably should've had a high profile loan this year. That's an example of keeping a young player in the squad having a negative impact. Every player's different.
