If you say "I'm feeling blue", it's generally not a nice feeling. Therefore Red has to be better.

I mean that’s a bit flimsy as there is no comparison. What would “I’m feeling red” even mean? Angry? Horny? Communist? Not sure any of those are particularly endearing.
