Bristol in great form, no way are we going to be these without playing our best team.

Hope someone has mentioned that to Nuno. I fear he will start with Cav, Costa and Traore up front with Giles and Vinagre as wingbacks and MGW and Saiss in the middle.
In which cas we will get humped!

To be honest Gem, I think Nuno will field the best team he has available for this one. I agree, however, that if he starts with the team you suggest we won't go through.

I think Jota and Costa will both be doubts this weekend as they were both injured against Newcastle.

Whether Nuno decides to go 3-4-3 or 3-5-2; he really needs to start Jiminez in this one. 3-4-3 won us the Championship last year, so I would have no qualms if Nuno decided that was the way to go in order to rest one or two of the midfielders.

I like Bristol and hope they cement a place in the top 6. Full strength team needed for this one without a doubt then hopefully can get the goals and bring on the subs.

How's the promotion going Tammy ?

Have to start Jimenez in this game but sadly it looks like Jota will be out. Can see Nuno going 3-4-3 in that case and it SHOULD be Traore right, Cavaleiro left.

Back three won't be changed but we could see Vinagre start but no idea who of Doc of Jonny gets the rest. Don't see Giles starting and i hope not in this one. Ruddy will likely start again.

Midfield is the trickiest one, Can see Bristol going at us so think it may be handy to have Saiss in there and then who knows, he works well with Neves and i don't see Moutinho starting, the only other option would be Dendoncker but not sure how he and Saiss would get on together.

Reckon

Ruddy
Doherty
Vinagre
Boly
Bennett
Coady
Saiss
Neves
Cavaleiro
Jimenez
Traore

Really good second half display from Tottenham tonight, should see them through to the next round.

Only just caught up with last night's results, blues blew a big chance to close the gap to the playoffs and the Albion could only draw at um. That other little club from Brum got predictably humped at Brentford.

But never mind all that, where's wolfie fecked off to? I want my 1-1 joker prediction points

Going to be an interesting run in with the championship.

Still have a feeling WBA will be top two and wouldn't be surprised to see Leeds run out of gas

bristol doing a fulham - so strong a run that they look certain for top 3 with leeds and norwich. albion to lose playoff final to one of those 3

Yours might actually have a bearing on the outcome of the comp, mine sadly wont. Been terrible in both this season.

Doesn't seem to be too much excitement on this thread for this match. Are we becoming blasé to success?

Not many of us on this board now. Think cincis post was about 9:30 yesterday morning - nothing at all the rest of the day.

The Sunday kick off is a little way off yet so there's time yet for us to focus on this match.

Personally, Im excited at the prospect of getting through to the QFs and at the same time wary of the threat from Brizzle. They are definitely the form team in the Championship at the moment. Are Bristol prioritising the cup or the league? That might be the deciding point actually. Though they don't play again until next Saturday so they can probably go strong.

I hope we treat this like a league fixture and put out a strong team, though I fear Nuno will want to give some squad players an outing. As I said before Shrewsbury, put the game to bed first, then send on the back ups.(He didnt follow my advice then either!)

Comments are well down aren't they.

Anyway, no matter. Did anyone see Declan Rice has now chosen England over Ireland since Mick became manager of Ireland again.
