any away point is decent in this league.

We are a probably on for a final points total of 60-65 points, which is not playoffs but it is a significant improvement on the last few years.

I think they play on Wednesday too!

Can't really complain about the goal that wasn't given; it looked like a foul in real time I thought.

The keeper should be awarded an Oscar for his play acting!

Yates did not commit a foul there. Ref was conned by the keeper and defender play acting as if they’d been poleaxed. You have to hope this luck evens up at some point...

There are 2 things to note from the disallowed ‘goal’, first of all the keeper pushes the ball away from the on rushing Yates, starts to get up, realises where he has pushed the ball too and ‘collapses’ theatrically to the ground, obviously claiming a foul, the other thing to note is Yates reaction, or lack of reaction after the foul is given, at first I thought he had accepted it was a foul, but then it looks like he is heading back to the half way line. Personally I don’t think it is a foul, but because of the over reaction by the PNE keeper and defender, I can see why the referee felt it may have been.

I've watched it a few times now and I think it is the Preston defender who hits the keeper with his knee, hence both are injured.

That was the impression I got also, but at least a point isn’t bad, PNE are in decent form.

I think the ref was clearly conned by their players. It is frustrating to see but most teams would have done the same in that situation, I think. That is the modern game.

Forest need to take that frustration and use it as a tool to get themselves whipped up for the El Cloughico next week. MoN is a canny operator and I have enjoyed his interviews as he always gives an interacting insight into matters. I think he will be drilling it into the squad this week to bring a bit more of a ruthless streak to proceedings and ensure that any poor decisions become side issues.
