Brazil himself is a working class Glaswegian who votes Tory. The worse possible kind of Tory. Cannot stand Brazil, always waffling on about the East End of Glasgow, then says he votes Tory. An alcoholic should never be believed.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm kicking myself for asking but what is wrong with a working class Glaswegian voting for a Tory exactly?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
You do know the Tories only want your vote, they wouldn`t be seen dead socialising with people from the East End of Glasgow. Most proper Tories think the working class are the dregs of society and need keeping in their place. Why do you think there is still an upper class in place in England?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Strange, I know plenty of pampered, middle class Trotskyists.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So do I, I socialise and mix with them. Difference between a true Trot and a true Tory, class don`t matter.

Lots of people have more than me, I can guarantee he has more than you too.
The point I was making is that he inherited his money, and he hasn't increased it, reports say he has less than he was given. I don't know if that is true, but it does rather kybosh the idea he is some kind of financial whizzkid.
If I had inherited what he did I too would be rich, but I would not have earned it.
Oh and I don't live in a palace, but it's not a shack either.

You seem jealous of their success! Success should be celebrated in this country not Mediocrity and doing nothing with your life.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hey, jealous?
I’m not sure how pointing out hypocrisy makes me jealous.
I’m any case I’m not doing badly myself, qualifies as an accountant last year and now able to supplement my income from employment with private work.
A lifetime's worth of dodgy, if not questionable, financial deals.
A pompous vow to boycott a major broadcaster for shedding light on said illegalities.
A distinctly nepotistic approach to said illegalities. An approach that has hung over the careers of both him and his equally bent son like an albatross.
A trail littered with organisations left worse-off than they were before he came along.
And that's just Allardyce.
Come to think of it; Has anyone ever seen the two of them in the same room together?

Depends what you mean by upper class. If you’re referring to wealth, no one should really take issue with people who have created their own wealth through hard work and enterprise.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Like the Royal Family and all the rich landowners, who were handed down their land hundreds of years back as favours by the elite, and have just handed it down from generation to generation.
Yup they really had to work hard for their enormous wealth.

On one hand yeah he's a liar or exaggerates a lot of things but at the same time he's straightforward and to the point, talks about issues that other politicians always ignore. How people see him depends how they feel about the issues.
Obama was a nice person and respected but also seen by a lot of Americans as an ineffective president who didn't do much or deliver the change he said he would and a big reason why this time they voted for someone who's not a nice guy but will get things done.
