Afraid to say we have been flattering to deceive, have thought this for a while but hoped to be wrong. Villa have really given us a lesson so far.

Completly wring tactics against Villa.

Still only 3 points outside play offs

That's where we will stay on this performance.

It’s the manner of the defeat (slightly premature), Steer hasn’t had a meaningful save to make. We look toothless up front.

Missing our best striker (who is one of the best in the league) and Lolley out of form. Carvalho not taken his chance.

Villa are absolutely shredding us, they are a class above us, we can’t have any complaints imo

With Boro and Brizzie imploding there maybe 2 spots up for grabs

We have been very disappointing, created very little and have been pretty much dominated. Long way to go, but it’s still better than last season.

Appalling performance, mainly down to hoofing the ball.

Let’s forget the play offs and concentrate on finishing above the sheep, that is certainly do able.

Well, that was a bit flat.

I think we can safely say that Ansarifard and Carvalho are too easily dominated and can’t play together as the forwards.

Typical forest performance in choking just as another chance comes up for the playoffs. Villa deserved to win and we never really got going throughout the whole match.

Only good thing is that Bristol yesterday and Derby are choking as well so we are still only three points behind us but there are so many teams in for a shout at the top six now.

We can still do it but our consistency is just shocking. I mean we have only won once back to back all season!!!

Still all to play for. Will be good to have Robinson back by sounds of it. Maybe Pele isn’t the new Viera

I have thought for a while Villa would make the play off’s, and now they have continued thei r fine run they will take a lot of stopping. Boro, Brizzie and the sheep are all stuttering. PNE are on a great run as are the Wendies under Bruce. The top 4 look good bets but the rest will have a hell of a scrap for the last 2 places, it will almost certainly go to the last day.
For the Reds it’s looking like another opportunity missed, but at least we have something to build on AT LAST.

That’s the glimmer of hope. There are some good foundations there but they have to boss teams at home. Villa found it too easy to import their game on Forest. Too many lightweight players in that team tonight.

Carvalho is still a bit of an enigma. You’d think having finally won his opportunity under MoN, he would be out there firing on all cylinders but I find him a little tenatwive and he slows the pace down a lot which allows other teams to regroup.
