It's no criticism to City fans just wondering why they post so few articles. Especially when your team trashes a team 10-2

yep just go it. How the feck did Schalke make it through the group stages. Interesting VAR though. Never realised how much is down to the linos before tonight.

There’s a lot more of the other 5 teams supporters on here,many match thread regulars so there’s plenty of scope for immediate aftermatch topics & threads
There’s only a handful of City fans on here but we are match goers so a bit of an anomaly hence we never have a match thread

Because most didn’t join this forum, or left it in the early days, so there’s only a few of us left.

On the game, surprised by just how bad Shalke were. Not really sure what their game plan was tbh given they were always going to need to score at least too. Var, I’m still not a fan, even if it overturned a goal for us. Took way too long.

Nothing to add, my work is done.

The one overturned melts - could see he was well off and I was no way near it. Can’t believe the ball even makes its way back to the centre spot before a decision is made in most cases.

As in the Sterling one that they eventually gave - sure the linesman gave him offside originally didn’t he?

I am surprised at the way Schalke played. 7-0 and you would think it was picking them off as they over committed up front but i can only remember 1 shot on target. Leroy and Oleks were in danger of dying from lonliness on the left as there was no defender within 15 yards of them for most of the game. Hope Liverpool win so they have more than 1 game a week. Part timers.

He kept up with play and made no attempt to raise his flag til the ref told him.

Total farce, What I didn;t realise until tonight was that the pictures the TV audience see aren't shown in the stadium.
