I'm looking forward to this one. It looks as if Grabban will play (just hope we don't get a penalty) and with Cash fit again we could have more attacking threat than we have had for a while.
I was very impressed with the Jacks when I watched them against Man City. A pity the ref handed it to City on a plate. Dan James and Celina caught the eye; and I remember McBurnie having a very good game at the City Ground last season.
Grabban's return could tip it in our favour; I'll go for an emphatic 3-1 win tokeep play off hopes alive.
I think Lolley is on penalty duties, after Grabban's last miss?
It was tight at Swansea, and to be fair we could have nicked it. I think tomorrow will also be fairly close and predict a 2-1 home win, that is assuming Grabban is fit and plays. We have looked better defensively recently and will need to keep this up against the Swans, they are better attacking than defending. For me the rest of the season is more about performance than results, so a draw wouldn’t be a disaster. I don’t believe we are ready for the play offs this season and personally will be quite happy to miss out as long as we provide a good platform for next season.
Managed to grab some tickets for this one in the Cloughie Stand. Being on the Swans!
Or even ‘bring on the Swans’😀
Beautiful day in Nottingham at the moment, "No Jacket Required" for the first time this year; let's hope we see some beautiful football to go with it. We were given the run around a few times when Martinez was in charge there, let's see if we can repay them.
MON has had plenty of time to plan and organise for this one. Team shape and selection will be interesting as usual. Back five picks itself with Figs on the bench perhaps. Colback, Lolley, and Grabban start. The other three starts come from Osborn, Watson, Pele, Yates, and Cash. Pep, Yacob, Murphy, Appiah on the bench.
Sorry forgot to include Carvalho in my thinking. I expect him to start on the bench.

Indeed!! 🤣
Speaking to my bro and some Derby fans. They are feeling low at the moment. All worries that Lampard is going to leg it at the end of the season as the cuts begin to bite.
Cash is an automatic pick today. Got to get some width to their play and lose the over reliance on Lolley.
It’s really beautiful in Notts today. I sense a goalfest.
Forest 4-2 Swans
Lolley, Cash and Grabban x 2.
Swansea are another team in disarray. They’re feeling the bite after relegation and their fans aren’t too pleased with the owners. A few of the players that came down from the Prem with them have been accused of being in a grump, such as Leroy Fer.
Barrie McKay has done exactly the same there as he did at Forest. Bright start and then anonymity. Shame for him as he clearly has ability but, surprisingly for a Scot, appears to lack heart.
Their star man who almost moved to Leeds in January scored for Wales the other day so is likely to be full of confidence. Will need watching closely. Hoping Milosevic is back in the centre of defence. He seems the most organised of those available. A bit of polish to Benalouane’s all out take no prisoners approach!
So team news:
Pantilimon
Darikwa, Wague, Benalouane, Osborn
Yates, Watson, Colback
Cash, Grabban, Lolley
Subs: Steele, Murphy, Carvalho, Robinson, Yacob, Pele, Ansarifard.
Will that team work, or does it isolate defence from attack, or are we just going to hoof it, like the Centre Halves did against Villa?
Strange to have Robinson on bench.
Especially as it sounds as if we're under the cosh; midfield can't get hold of the ball I hear.
Perhaps our defenders could pass to them instead of hoofing it?
Lolley getting frustrated.

We will no doubt play to their strengths and give no service to Grabban. We will then let in a goal and throw on Carvalho, Murphy and Yacob. Stick to our only game plan...and then lose, or, get a very boring point.
Then everyone over the age of 80 can worship the balls of Monkea.
I had a bad day.
Lol. Just seen that Carvalho and Murphy came on...with Pepe!! 😂 nearly picked it.
31% possession and no shots on target.
Footballing geniuses!!
(Please God let me get this one wrong)
They've just scored via a deflection; we have lost all confidence, not one shot on target all game!
Chile you should do the lottery!
