i dont agree with most liverpool fans thinking they shouldn't be able to win the league over city.
your starting 11 is just as good maybe better. the difference is the bench.
i dont even think liverpool has played up to their potential this season with only a few games the exception, and yet here you are 2 points ahead
its not in your hands but win the rest of your games and i think you'll edge it.
picked you in the summer to win it but didn't think you would be playing that mid field in games like this.
also haven't seen so many passes to the opposition with no pressure as in that first half yesterday.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Thought the passing was good first half. Second half it was poor after Spurs changed it and we reacted too late. When they scored we abandoned the midfield and went all out attack. Luckily it paid off.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
for me in the first half the passing went from sublime to horrid. there were so passes straight to a spurs players while they weren't even pressing. the second half spurs played much better but in the first half their only attacks came from cheap turnovers.

If we keep the same points average we'll get to 94 points.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I said at Christmas I reckoned 94 will win it.
Not saying we will but I think that’s the magic number
And yet if we get 93-94 points and city win it we’ll be called bottlers
Regarding the OP Im having heart failure watching us st the moment and it’s going to get worse
Salah needs to stop trying to force a goal for himself when other players are better positioned to score.

Hmm. Our posession was nearly 60% first half and something like 35% second half. Our passing was fine until they changed it at half time. We simple recycled the ball until the full backs got high and then hit them with a diagonal. It was working perfectly.
I predicted they'd change it at half time and said we should bring Fabinho on to counter that as they'd gain control in midfield. We waited until they scored before we changed it but Klopp took a massive risk in not trying to gain control in midfield but emptying it and going all out attack, which paid off.

This. It's been happening too long now.
Agreed.
During this goal drought he has squandered many chances to notch an assist to add to his seasons tally.
Not very clever.
It's a good way to stop smoking and if you live alone I would seek medical help if you think you have a dog. But I concur, watching Liverpool at the moment is like being nervous for your child in the school play when you know they aren't a very good singer.

It's really not. I smoke about ten a day, twenty when Liverpool play.
My heart starts banging from kickoff onwards and only really settles down when we're 3-0 up
And I'm already on heavy duty meds for hypertension

Let me know after you've croaked, and I can take on the mantle. Hang on though, just suppose I noooooooo.
Hello, Redvalk.
Welcome to my world, especially of late. I don't think I'm as old as manusinc, but we are of the same generation.
I'm reaching the stage where there's no joy, no happiness in watching the game live. In reality its all becoming too stressful, bearing in mind that we are LFC, i.e. We don't do 'easy'. We only do 'difficult'.
There's a bit of me that wants to switch off, keep all knowledge of what the team is doing away from me, find out about it, by chance, a couple of hours (or months?) later. That would do for me.
Unless of course when we get to the final of the Champions League in Madrid. I've got to get a ticket for that, haven't I?
And watch the game live.
See, there's no hope for me.

That would be a great achievement as Liverpool's team costs a fraction of City's.
I don't agree though. I think City are a bit better especially when you look at the respective benches.
