TBH a small part of me hopes we don't sell out the stadium week in week out, some of the prices are a joke.

Can't say I blame you at all. On the one hand, you can't expect a free lunch and to pay pittance for Premier League football in a billion pound stadium but you also can't fack over the fans.

When we had the mass walk out at Anfield after they announced price hikes, it worked wonders.

How much are the Premium Seats that did not get sold out?

In general, tickets look cheaper than Emirates for better experience, but maybe Arsenal fans are wealthier

Why were Chelsea only at 38.6k on Weds night CFC? I make that about 3k empty seats.

Agree some ( if not most ) of the seat pricing is way too high, particularly as football has it's historic roots within the working man's average wage capabilities. I mean not everyone is part of the so called "prawn sandwich" brigade.

But we all have to accept that demand for football dictates the prices we currently see. You pay, or you don't see.

That said, there has been numerous comments from non Spurs supporters on this topic, all of which are, frankly petty. This one coming from a Chelsea supporter, who enjoy a capacity of something like 20,000 less, in a ground that is about 30 years out of date.

If achieving capacity is the only comment you can come up with, when taking into account all the amazing positive aspects of the stadium,, then you really do live a sad life. Do you not preview your post and think, "well actually this makes me sound really envious" I really do feel sorry for you. Every day must just drag for you.

hmmm lets think, wednesday night against Brighton at Stamford bridge - run of the mill game or First game in a billion dollar stadium after almost 2 years away from home stadium- i know which i presume the easiest to sell out. After lot of travelling and living abroad(currently in Denmark). i can tell you that i have seen many countries where utd are the biggest selling team also Liverpool have their share and Chelsea too- i have never seen a land where there are widespread Spurs colours. leads me to think they are not as big as they like to think they are.

The club have said that every available Spurs ticket for this game was sold but if you don't believe them then you could write a very stiff letter to Daniel Levy.

if you think that levy built that stadium for tottenham, a club with a ceiling of scraping top 4 every year then you are mental, you barley filled WHL every week.

Levy built the stadium to also accommodate NFL and other sporting events more likely to attract it to full capacity and this lining his own pockets

no matter how you dress it up, spurs are a good team currently, but they are not a big club

those two things aren't exclusive to each other.

when poch goes you slide back down the table again

Between £120 - £140 I believe, possibly more.

On the note of wealthiest fans, a study a few seasons ago showed Spurs fans being the wealthiest, followed by Chelsea. Still doesn't make it right to charge fortunes.

Given there are ninety odd teams in the professional English Football, with Spurs being one of the ten biggest, I would probably say they are a big club.

this is extremely rare...don't know why, we were 2nd of the capacity filled list last time they produced one, at about 99.2%

At least like ourselves you are honest about how many folk are in the ground, unlike certain clubs who like to appear more popular than they are.

posted on 5/4/19

Apparently $puds new ground has about 2500 seats that can't be used for our national game due to poor visibility as they are at a height only to be used when they wheel out the pitch...and apparently use the lower ground pitch for american football....

They've sold out to the yanks and their glorified Rugby thing

Got this from an apparently informed Spurs fan

The Tottenham Hotspur Supporters Trust say: "The first two rows of both the North and South Stand were unavailable for sale [on Wednesday]. This was an operational decision by the Club amid concerns over sight-lines. One of those rows will be available to all future matches after those concerns proved to be unfounded.

"The Club will be closely monitoring with a view to opening up the front row in the near future.

"Aside from those front rows, *several Premium seats were unsold*, there were some no shows and a few hundred were lost to segregation lines between Spurs and Palace fans.

What was the point of putting in seats in an area to be used as segregation...?

or is that just for London Derbies

Segregation changes for every competition so obviously they aren’t going to leave huge chunks of the ground without seats

It’s a max of 3000 (league, cups get more ) I believe but if clubs hand back tickets then the home club have those spare seats.

Oh sorry that’s the max allocation for away fans. Don’t know how big clubs have to leave between sets of fans.

Anyway point being no club would just leave empty space.
