Every game now is the biggest game the club has had for 15 years.....until we gain promotion automatically or are destined for playoffs - it’s very nerve wracking
It's hard to argue about the failings in the January window, but we did get a superb keeper. What a difference James would have made in our recent losses.
A big question for me is whether Bielsa can recover the tactical acumen he showed earlier in the season, when he made deft, match-winning changes on a regular basis. Our injury situation was much worse than it is now, but we won a lot of games.
He is playing much more conservatively now, and I think this is making us too predictable, and beatable. If Pablo is not 100%, it provides Bielsa with the opportunity to shake things up a little, and give Preston some different problems to deal with. They were well beaten by Sheffield United, and I would love to see us boss them about, the way we did to Reading a few weeks back.
If the club was on the stock market the shares would have gone down in January, an absolute shambles.
Fail to prepare, prepare to fail.

Lets be honest.
If we were putting away the chances being set up for our players, we'd not have lost either the Sheffield or Birmingham games. We're guilty of missing chances, that may well have won us games, in both those losses. It's fine margins. Literally seconds after missing a relative sitter, Brum went up the other end and scored - you could see it unfolding. With Sheffield, had we been more clinical in the first half, we'd have been well ahead there too. Caught out by a sucker punch in that game I thought.
We're still a good side, we're still creating chances. It's our conversion rate I'd question right now.
I thought MB changed things effectively against Millwall with good substitutions as well.
Promo - its never that simple with our club! - although we have lost our advantage just feel knowing LUFC we will do an 'Aguero! - substitute Pablo' and leave it till the last kick of the season to go up in autos!
It might have been easier had we strengthened.
No excuses.
Not might would but I'm still hopeful!

Said players signed may have picked up an injury.
All ifs buts maybes, should've could've yadda
An overreliance on last minute backup options is why we end up signing players like Barrow and Pedraza. I'm glad the club went after their #1 target. Almost signed him too, if it wasn't for shenanigans from Swansea.
Failed signings are the normal unfortunately in January and in the summer.
Are you really saying we couldn’t improve in January ?
We must have a brilliant squad guaranteed of promotion.
ODowda
James
Lowe
Were 3 players we were linked to ALL January. It shouldn't have taken 31 days to sign James. We didn't replace Saiz or Baker and there replacement Brown has still not even played for us yet. If we run the club like that in the premier league, we'll get humiliated.
We didn't even sign any youngsters on loan ffs, anyone would have been better than Baker, Brown and Saiz.
Wonder how things would have been if Cellino was still here, nobody looked at in January, manacoach kissing Cellinos butt, and people here having kittens!..
Odd world eh?..
Better the way it is than how it was, and we've got as much chance of going up as the top six and more than anyone else!..
I still wonder how it might have been when AR wanted and Cellino advised January was a bad time if he just might have backed AR, if I remember rightly we were somewhere up there with the best, amazing how we fell big time just after that!..
We'll win tonight and be back 2nd.

Didn't realise until last night, that Sheff Utd play a day later. Huge chance to pile on pressure if we win. We gotta win
We sign James. He gets injured or doesn’t play well. Maybe another player also, with same result.
Accounts for last season come out. £4 million loss.
We would have had the 20/20s going ballistic that we gambled with money we didn’t have to play with and that aorta, AR and others should be tarred and feathered, drawn and quartered and then they should be punished.
As VOF wrote somewhere, it’s fine margins that separate wins from losses. We could have just as easily been above Norwich, if....
One recent example, Bamford does not hit the post but the ball goes in the Brum goal. There are many similar examples throughout the season.
Suggestion - let the season play out before we all point out how much cleverer each of us are and who we wouldn’t have and would have signed, eh?
Links? We aren’t playing golf.
I want results.

Do you really? Because it seems to me that you want us to lose so that you can come on here and complain about it.
I’m prepared to criticise Bielsa and the club if I think they have got it wrong.
Lubo, you are a yes man.
My support is undying, my loyalty the same.
I’m just a hard taskmaster.
Ive had the odd heated debate with Lubo as you well know but I would never accuse him of being a yes man!
I'm not a yes man, but I won't rip the team apart just because people think I should!..
Sometimes it seems it might be better when this club don't go up, because if they do people like you'll have nothing left to do!..
We need to win tonight to go back into second spot and yet PNE need to win to go back up close to the play offs.
Can't predict the score for this game as it can go either way.
Let's hope we make amends from Saturday so come on Leeds.
