I haven't said high win percentage = schite though or low = good.
You are the one who keeps bring win percentages into it, i judge a manager on their ability to improve a teams standing.
AVB took his team backwards in consecutive seasons and was sacked with 18 months and he had Bale for the first season ripping it up to thank for finishing in 5th.
Soon as he left, he spent in excess of 100m and they were 7th. The fans thought the football was dull as well.
Having a tough ride today JFK
Out of interest who's the best Celtic manager Lennon or Rodgers?
FYI - Stats in the Scotsman show that the departed Rodgers had a 69.94% of wins to his name as Hoops manager. That total is over a sum of 163 competitive games in charge.
Yet, despite the Northern Irishman’s stellar record, Lennon trumps it with a 70.04% record.
i dont think i am
"he's schite because he finished fifth and not fourth" is a sad argument to be honest.
Lennon has a better win % thats true, i'm not saying he is poor manager? i think he is a good manager, just think rodgers is better.
why?
because he won every domestic trophy he competed in during his time in scotland.
unlike stevie who regularly gets pumped off aberdeen.
Should Gerrard not get cut some slack being his first year in mamagement though jf.
Rodgers is a highly experienced boss.
If Gerrard does not learn from his mistakes next season then is the time to chastise
normally i would say yes puyol, but given i f...ing hate him and he's a brainless bastirt then no.

To be fair, i don't remember Lennon being afforded that luxury and he ran Walter Smith to the last day.
When did Gerrard Pash on your chips jf
nnh
puyol - never liked him mate, diving snide of a player, attacked a dj and got off because of who he is.
expect if he fails at rangers and has to leave it will be someone elses fault, not his of course.
glad everyones seeing Gerrard for the utter cawck he is
I've only spent the last 20 years trying to tell everyone
On the AVB rumours, likely just that, rumours.
I'd be very happy with him being appointed, he'd command respect and a handsome transfer kitty too. A good coach who has done a very good job in Portugal and Russia, bit hit and miss in England but so was Rodgers.
I still believe Martinez and Maloney will be the number one targets and i'd be delighted with them.
Fair point jf but jeez wee Neil is no angel do you feel the same
martinez is taking belgium to the euros next year there is no way in hell he is leaving that to manager in scottish football mate.
its the same with the benitez chat, why is he going to leave the premiership and half his wage to manage in scotland
AVB is out of work, thats the only reason he is even remotely possible.
i dont know why we are bothering, its lennon and we all know it.
