I think he saw Berardi running in and left it to him!..
I don't think it's down to ability or attitude. I just think it is because Bielsa is being loyal to the players who have got us in this position and Brown hasn't played first team for over a year. Who would you drop for Brown? Roberts who has been great for his age and is our player not a loanee? And would it be fair to put him on the bench over any of the guys who have made big contributions to our season?
I thought Brown could add something. Still could. Due to his second injury he was only in proper contention with about 10 games to go and his cameo at QPR showed he was a bit off the pace.
One wonders how much the pay if he plays part of his contract is an influence here.

Rubbish....Cellini isn’t here anymore, didn’t you know?
Money talks, happens all the time, look at Gary Kelly.
I think he joins the list of Leeds signings that looked great on paper but turned out to be duds...I give you Roque Junior, I'm sure you can remember many more.
This is a good spot, Salonika, it does show a lack of desire on his part. Is this what Bielsa sees more of in training?
Perhaps he's deeply frustrated after working his way back from a serious injury, to find himself in the U23s, when in his mind he's above that level now?
Again, perhaps, MB sees him as a loan, so will only turn to him if all else fails. That has to be frustrating if you're desperate for 1st team action.
Not saying the above is what's happening, but just perhaps maybe?
Maybe he just aint good enough to play MB's way

If you have the time to wonder about hypotheticals like that then you clearly can't be up to much.
Lubo, I’m waiting for my son to come round after an operation, is that ok with you?
When I’ve seen him, reminded me of bridges after his injuries
Mobility looked gone.
Not saying he’s finished but he looked way short
Hope he's okay Jonty ......
and i'm 100% sure Lubo had no knowledge of that ....
There's only 6 games left, he's missed 40 of them. I'd be pretty dejected with that. I genuinely thought that Brown or Douglas would score the winning goal to send us up. Brown still could.
If a player wants to play by dislodging regulars, he has to show that he is better. For Bielsa, it appears one has to show that for 95 minutes in the U23s, in this case. If IB is sauntering around, Harry Casual style, as some have suggested, it’s not that hard to figure out who is who and what is what.
Lots of radical explanation about Brown on this site.
Only one comment on here with the obvious. Unfortunately the lad hasn’t recovered to any where near his quality before injury. I really hope he does at some point for his career but doesn’t look like he has enough time here. There’s a possibility it never happens.
Was always the risk when signing him. He’s returned to fitness but unable to find the form. If he had found the form he would be perfect for this side. Sadly it hasn’t happened
I love the Brown posts, it’s April 1 everyday
Give it up!
VOF, he was nervous as hell, as was I with needles being stuck into his eye.
WHat are you talking about Promotion?

Everything go ok? Whats the prognosis?
Nerve wracking to have a child in the OR, as minor as the procedure might be!

Makes football matters an utter irrelevance when your child (whatever age) are struggling.
Hope all pans out ok 👍🏽
He's had an eye operation, they literally cut into his eyeball, he was very worried about it as was I, can never be 100% with general anasthetic, but all ok and he's home now.
Good news, I wish him a speedy recovery!
He has looked decent for the reserves.
But I just think for him his recovery took too long and other players have done too well.
Who do you drop for him?
It wouldnt matter how good he is as an individual anyway, you play your best team and that team has got us in the top two for most of the year it seems
