Two games.....Utd and Burnley away.

One thing for certain. For months the media were saying how liverpool and the fans were not handling the pressure etc. It was consantly in the papers esp after draws to United and Everton. Both who were desperate to beat us at all costs. Yesterday, last 15 minutes the city players and their fans were bricking it. You could sense it. They now are feeling a proper battle unlike last season were they walked it. If teams can get past that opening 20 mins the will be very interesting.

This united will bend over for city is a load of bollox. Just comes from paranoid RS fans.

Also seems to a lot of bitterness towards city from rival top 6 clubs fans, the way I see it is that all top 6 clubs are owned by billionaires, makes no difference where the money to bankroll each club come’s from.

To me football is just business nowadays, fans mean absolutely nothing to clubs. Sad times.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
It’s not so much because of the billions they have...it’s the fact that they’ve spent all that money and somehow are within FFP rules?

Also, it’s not paranoia...if you’re a United supporter...pick your poison...would you rather have your blue rivals win it with their limited history - OR let your bitter rivals win and go within one league of equaling your 20 league titles?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I would rather finish in the top 4. If that means beating City and giving Liverpool the title then so be it. Yes we will have deal with horrible Liverpool fans gloating for a season but come Autumn and we are prepare to watch the midweek CL kick off I won't care what Liverpool fans are saying.

Anyway, Newcastle will also be a tough game for you unless Benitez gifts you the win with a weak line-up

I strongly suspect that both the Cardiff game today, and the final game against Wolves are going to be very hard.

Let's wait and see what the outcome is, and in the meantime, sit back and enjoy!

posted on 21/4/19

We need to focus solely on Cardiff then we look at who's next etc

As for City, I didn't expect anything from yesterday and I think they'll hit Utd for 5 plus, I really think it will be a mauling

Burnley and Leicster are our only hope

Cardiff have got to try and get something from the game today after Brighton went 4 points ahead of them yesterday. He won’t go all out attack but I don’t think they’ll be as defensive as we think.

Most of my family are reds so I’d rather Liverpool won league than any Manchester clubs. I have good banter with local Liverpool fan mates, but the plastics on here like neo and deadinthehead are proper cringe. No connection whatsoever to the city of Liverpool but seem revel in the fact Everton are ๐Ÿ’ฉ

City fling 1 up after 5 mins is disastrous but that's credit to them for flying out the traps, be nice to see the get flustered after an hour at 0-0

make no mistake those that dismiss burnley are fools....

Who was the fool who predicted that City would drop 5 points between Palace , Spurs and United

Under OGS, I think ManU will go flat out to win each and every game remaining. The Everton game should be a cracker.

Wednesday? at OT? Again, United will go flat out to win. OGS Doesnt know any other way. Bear in mind also, that there's quite a few United players playing for their future.

We live in interesting times people!

First game where City have looked nervy tbf.

LIverpool have been looking nervy since January, needing howlers from Lloris Speroni, Rico, etc to save them

I think it’s done and dusted. City will be champions. Their match against Spurs was probably the best opportunity for them to drop points.

United will bend over for them. Sure they might miss out on champions league football by losing to City, but they’re still a big enough club to get players they want. AND losing to City would certainly guarantee that they can hang that 30 years without a title over our heads.

Oh well. It was fun while it lasted. Hopefully we can win the Champions League instead.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I can absolutely assure you we wont be bending over for City.

They will probably beat us because they are a lot better than us. But to suggest we will bend over is bizarre

Agreed United need the points for top 4, I reckon the majority of the players don’t care who wins the league with the possible exception of the local lads

No it doesn’t

It comes from United fans saying they don’t want to win the City game because we will win the league.

Yes but it’s been United fans saying they hope they lose on Weds, and that they think United will forego millions and competing in the CL so see Liverpool not win the league. Not Liverpool fans

posted on 21/4/19

As a United fan, I can assure you that I want us to win on Wed. The only caveat I have there is that I think a draw would be worse than a defeat, in terms of worst case scenario. Would harm us and help Liverpool
