Not a good performance but blatant penalty. What's the argument against it? Not seen a replay admittedly

Looked a good tackle from what I saw on TV

dcfchris is right, it was right in front of us and a definite penalty, the tackler didn't touch the ball. I was surprised the ref gave it though.

Jorvik, what I meant was that we finally had a ref who was prepared to add 9 MINUTES onto the end of a game. I thought he showed great honesty and integrity to do this after the blatant time wasting by QPR - even though refs should do this all the time.

Are we the only fans to debate the merits of a penalty given FOR us

I'll go along with VC10 ( I was at the other end of the ground) - technically it was a penalty but I was surprised it was given.

It was definitely a penalty, if you don't believe me look at the reports. We have been denied better penalty decisions so count our blessings.
