Generally agree - by the time we play Villa our short term prospects will be clearer - if auto gone give the likes of Pablo a rest.
totally agree with this - apart from two finally's ... you must have finals on your mind
I suppose it is not beyond the realms of possibility that Shef.Utd could freeze and Ipswich get a draw but I don't think they will and I expect them to win 2 or 3 nil.
Pablo needs resting as well as Pontus and Clarke and Roofe need game time so that are most influential players are ready for hopefully 3 cup finals. Also Kp needs restoring into the team and Shackleton given a chance now Alioski is out.
According to news reports Norwich will only have 20m to spend next season because of their debts. I will be amazed if they stay up. If we go up we will have 5-6 weeks less time than them and Blades to prepare for next season and like Fulham have found out this can really damage you in terms of having a successful season.
I know we all want promotion but do we really want to scrape up now and be lucky like Huddersfield and Fulham to get a handful of wins and come straight back down or go up in style next season like Wolves and be a force in the Premiership?
My answer is of course we go up this season if we can and take our chances and hope Bielsa can be like Bernitez at Newcastle.
Agree - I put my team on another post, but would happily have Clarke, Shackleton and Edmondson come off the bench.
Off the pitch I would also get them to watch the game against West Brom, if they can recreate that we are a force to be reckoned with.

Spot on. Think there’s a knee jerk reaction here. Complacency and arrogance led to defeat at Wigan. 1-0 they are 10 down we stroll about thinking we’ll win it 4/5-0.... that also caused the downfall vs Brentford
We’ve smashed teams into pieces including West Brom, derby, Bristol, Sheff W etc.... whilst taking our chances has been a problem, don’t think we are now as bad as everyone making out last couple of days.
If we are in this division again next year and Bielsa stays I see it as an easy fix.
We need another creative midfielder and a decent striker. Roofe and Roberts need too many chances to score. Bamford needs to lift too
We also need speed. I think we have it in Clarke and Shackleton and Bielsa needs to play them
Agree regarding Shackleton and made a similar post earlier.
I would like to see Klich rested even if its for 1 game as he looks shot last few games. I thought Forshaw actually did ok in the last game.
Personally i would like to see Roofe up top as Bamford's seems out of form. For a big man he seems a bit soft and doesn't bully players like a normal big man up front does.
Bamford was hopelessly low on confidence on Monday. Bielsa reluctant to hook him, as it will knock his confidence further.
I agree with the call to put Roofe up front again. Bamford on the bench to be switched in later in the game if necessary.
We don't play the same when Bamford is up front. Tactics sometimes seem to revolve around punting balls up through the middle to him. Not a bad plan if you're chasing the game and have just brought the guy on, but not so great when he tires.
Keep him as a super sub with Clarke.
Can’t see how Clarke makes the bench.
His form at seniors and U23s is way below the required level. He’s only there because the squad is so light
I could have done as well as Clarke on Monday.
Miscontrolled the ball a few times, and didn't look at all like going past the full back. Put in one 'up and under' cross.
Lots of good discussion points on here. Re Clarke I feel we have rushed him back when it is plain to see he is not right. Every time he has come on he has looked lightweight, not able to get past his man. We can all see this however Bielsa still persists in bringing him on. His loyalty to his players is admirable but should not be at the expense of the team and results.
Likewise with points others have made on here about Klich and Bamford. The snag here is we are so short of options what can we do? Bamford is off form but we only have a half fit/off form Roofe to put in his place. Klich has needed resting for months in my book but who can we put in his place? Pablo bless him looks absolutely shattered but again what is our creative/AM option? U23s like Edmonson and Shackleton could surely be given a shot but Bielsa does not seem to like them. Maybe he is protecting them, not wanting to throw them into this cauldron situation and scar them for the future.
All in all it is a quandary, I don't envy Bielsa he has some hard choices ahead. I just hope he can somehow work some magic and get 2 more and the perhaps and 3 more good performances out of whoever he picks

Let’s not forget, we haven’t secured 3rd place yet.
The thing to bear in mind with Clarke is that his absence was not viral or due to any natural illness. Consequently, I'm not sure why his form should suddenly be so different to previously.
Why was Clarke absent after Boro?
