What we are going keep using wenger to make excuses for Emery

Like I said, 90% of the teams in the league have better away form than us. That is unacceptable

The problem is what he has inherited, the pretty loser mentality was fostered and solidified under the hapless Wenger, at the end of last season away from home we were even worse.
Emery has to fix it next season if he wants to stay but we shouldn't blame him for inheriting Wenger's weak bunch of losers.

I think with Wenger in charge you would already have top 4 secured. He was the master of beating those sides.

It's just as bad. We reached the semifinals last season too and the only reason we have more points is because United, Chelsea and Spurs are also having a very poor season. Our records vs lower teams is about the same. We picked up more points vs top 6 teams for reasons mentioned above. That's it really

His management has been poor at times. Wrong line ups and subs. While on the other hand has been very good at times, especially start and mid season. But I find it hard to truly judge him because we all know just how poor some of our players are. We still have a high proportion of individual mistakes which is hard to address, and only really fixed by new players. If he gets more of his own players in for next season and we’re still looking poor, then question can properly asked of him

Don't agree with that. Spurs are in the CL semi, and also reached the League Cup semi so it's been a better season compared to last in my opinion with only a few less points in the league (hopefully).

Chelsea should also get as many points as they did last season, and they will have reached 2 finals.

Think you will have done better in a generally more competitive league.

We are a big facing club. Fans getting excited because we have a better points tally is a joke.

Open your eyes. It's a sheet season and the team have made no improvements

Utter rubbish this is a pathetic team with a loser mentality thanks to Wenger it will take more then one season to sort it out first we need to get rid of those players then bring in replacements who suit Emery’s style

So none of the blame goes on these useless players then. Do you not think Emery sets them up and prepares them?!. They keep making the same ridiculous errors time and time again. Because they are not gd enough!!. They’re are dumb, they do not learn. Let Emery gather his own squad!. No one gave us a sniff of top 4 including yourself Castor, we are overachieving with this squad.

The players need to share the blame but when I look at those stats, these to me suggest more a negative tactics from the manager

All the rumours are that we have got barely £50m to play with. Gone are the days when those rumours were bs but these days they are gaily accurate

Absolute delusion. No AKB was this deluded that's a fact.

Emery could take a shiet in your mouth and Mustafi sleep with your missus and you would find a way to blame Wenger. It's time to move on, this obsession is unhealthy.

Ironic that the ones who said Arsenal fc is not Wenger fc are the ones still going on about him almost a year on

Personally I would give the manager two seasons before laying judgement on him. We can all agree our defence is a shambles. Knowing that we spent the grand total of 10 million quid on it if you exclude the goalkeeper. I'm sorry in this day and age that just isn't going to cut Emery can't turn water into wine. We've got a defence that isn't fit for purpose. In public of course Emery is going to back them but in private I bet he's thinking God I wish I could replace the lot of them. It's got to be small steps we cant keep conceding three goals and expect to win matches. I'm sure the first thing that will be on Emery's mind all summer is how can I get them to defend better and unless he gets help from above he might as well not bother worrying about it because there is no one else who could do better with them.

Dont want to get back into that ridiculous Wenger/Emery discussion.

Have the player we brought in improved our weaknesses, have we improved footballwise, have we stopped our decline? Have we made progress under Emery?

My answer to it is no.

If we dont invest heavily this summer other teams like Wolves, Everton and even Leicester or West Ham could take our place. That is my fear.
