I was in the south stand. I moaned alot in the first half but decided to keep my mouth shut second half. Its hard not to voice opinions when you are frustrated. Some have the restraint, others don't.

Denzo, the atmosphere was rocking before Ajax scored. Infact, we started the game terribly and the crowd were right behind the team. Had no impact whatsoever. The players and manager let us down yesterday. Sorry, but fans who are happy go lucky constantly are part of the problem as to why we never get over the line when it actually matters. We accept failure.

I used to be like that. 7 years of good football but nothing to show for it does wear you down.

Absolute load of nonsense. Support from the fans is why we haven’t won anything is it?

It’s not about the impact on the team, it’s about enjoying one of the biggest nights in our history. If you can’t enjoy an occasion like last night may as well give up and stop going to matches.

It shouldn’t. Get a grip. The vast majority of football fans support a team that hasn’t won anything for 7 years. Why are we entitled to trophies?

No. I'm saying that as fans we accept failure too easily. The club are extremely lucky to have such a great set of fans, numbers and loyalty - for little in return. You can disagree all you want but that's my opinion.

Iv stuck with being a ST holder for 7 years and will be renewing for next season. I didn't enjoy the performance last night, but please don't tell me to "stop going" as a result. As I keep saying, not everyone can be happy with bad performances. I'm not knocking your support so don't knock mine.

Because we have been so close, only to fail at key moments. It's not the "trophies" per se. It's the hope and expectation that we are capable, only for that hope to be broken time after time.

P. S. Stop telling me to get a grip or saying what I am saying is nonsense. If you disagree, express why rather than cliche comments.

Spurs are 1 goal down and if they score first in the second leg its them in the driving seat with away goals.

Llorente & Son got you through the game against City yet now ones finsihed and the other is blowing hot and cold (despite playing great against City the other week).

Its no wonder the spursy tag is thrown around when you guys are so negative.

From an outsiders point of view I would say theres a great chance of spurs progressing.

Yeah this is so true, Champions League nights are the best and to be in a semi final even better. We all want to win but at the same time you have to enjoy the moment!

We’re not entitled to anything as supporters, I think that’s the real issue. I’m not telling you to stop going, I’m just making the point that people who moan for 90 minutes through a CL semi final probably aren’t enjoying themselves and would enjoy another hobby more.

To be honest I’m just disappointed that it was probably the biggest game in recent history and the atmosphere was dreadful. Don’t mean to take out that frustration on you personally

Fair enough

We all care, just show it in different ways. I'm sure il feel more positive come Wednesday but at the moment I really don't.

A lot of the blame for last night falls at Poch's feet.

Woeful set up and took far too long to change it.

I honestly dont get this.

Yesterday before the match most Spurs fans thought it would be difficult against Ajax, and it would be 50/50. They lost the home match, making it even more difficult. and now the majority is adamant they will progress.

There is no logic in that. How does a loss at home,. make you feel more confident??

The amount of injuries we have had this season is mental ; I don't even think we have been able to field our best 11 at any time

With any luck Kane might be fit for next week.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Spurs have no-one to blame but themselves for the injury list. The squad was small to begin with and had no rest due to the World Cup. You don't need to be Nostradamus to see that the risk of injuries was much, much higher this season, and yet no new players were brought in to enable rotation.

How so? Your away goal only cancels out Ajax' away goal. Nothing more, nothing less.

Couldnt agree more. There has been injuries but the squad replacements aren't good enough to step in, comparing them to say liverpool or citys squads. This is down to Levy not spending.

Levy should have a lot to answer for leaving the squad weak the way it is. At the end of the day, it all comes back down to him not strengthening the squad in the summer and then following that up by making the squad even weaker by selling Dembele without a replacement. Nobody can tell me a past it Dembele wouldn't have still been better than Wanyama in the first half.

No real back up striker and now we're making do with Llorente and have become that desperate we're even calling up Janssen.

Aside from that though, our luck with injuries has been truly pathetic. Do our medical staff have to be looked at? Maybe they do with the way they decided Vert was fit enough to go back on.

Dreadful is a bit harsh, it was excellent until Ajax scored, quiet for the rest of the half and then was pretty good in the second half.

Starting Llorente was a huge mistake as was playing a back 3.
-----------

when will poch learn. he literally does the same thing again and again and every time we play 3 at the back we look awful and have to change it

you also cannot start a game with Llorente up top as he offers so little and completely compromises the way we attack.... need to do everything possible to not have to play him striker...

not sure what the barrier is between poch's head and these very simple and obvious facts...

anyway.. we will win the return leg 2-1 with son back, and proceed... im not at all concerned

I predicted ajax to get through when we advanced to the SF

But to act like we don't have a chance when we're 1 goal down is a bit silly

Stranger things have happened
