We drew 4 games in 5 months.

potentially 3rd best ever prem finish.

the winners will have to get the 2nd best ever prem finish to take it from us.

city will have won 14 in a row.... thats not "done well" thats exceptional.

In the end what kind of spoiled brats think that from where we were in 2010 and when klopp took over that 97 points and a sf of cl is unacceptable.....

Seriously.. there was a time where we were headed for everton territory.. firmly mid-table and done. We are now in CL for 3rd year running #confirmed. Have reached its final and semi finals and been conistently improving.

We try our best.

i someone happens to be just plain better thats fair enough. Nobody robbed us, we didn't mess ourselves up. Barca scored two wordlies and got two perfect rebounds. City got 98 points (potentially)

i say well done barca and well done city and move on... crying into our teacups doesn't improve us.

I have to say, you will have been very unlucky to have been up against such a great City team if you don't win the PL. In most instances you current points total would have already secured the title.

Liverpool just need to keep going about their business. Made some astute signings in Klopp's years, played some great football and are a force on the domestic and European stage.

A couple more additions to the squad to improve the depth in some areas and they'll stay at the top level and they will start winning trophies, which seems to be the missing piece of the jigsaw.

I still have belief in going through and City dropping points. Why not? These things have happened in football so I don't see why I shouldn't believe they can happen again.

That's true, but that is the reality that we have to contend with for this season and in all probability the next couple of seasons too.

The competition or level of football is what should spur teams on to be better.

In reality what should have happened in Manchester is United and City driving each other on to higher levels that hasn't happened.

For the same reasons I want a resurgent Everton, the local rivalry and competition should make both teams compete harder.

Yeah....no way we're going to score four against Barca - even at Anfield. AND if we do score four, they'll get at least one goal.

As for the league, we'll most likely finish second with 97 points - AND - a single loss all damn season. How ridiculous is that?

Why would a team that weren't outstanding in the quarter finals, be kicking themselves that nobody is outstanding in the semi finals.🤔

Plus to say neither us or Barcelona were outstanding last night proves you know fook all about the game.

You can't lose 3-0 and have been outstanding. That's ridiculous. And this Barca team isn't a great one. We could have had a few goals against them in the quarters if we hadn't been so wasteful in the final third and we are average at the moment.

Outstanding no, it was a very good performance though.

Yes we done much as we can but there was stil key games we could of got more thats all. Every single team will look back and highlight games where they shouldn’t have dropped points. We’ve gained more points than any other team that have won the PL previously, apart from City. If you can’t see that as massive progress then there’s something clearly wrong with you.

I said theres progress u obviously didnt read what I said properly . Yes we have gain more points great but It highly looks like were not winning it unless u want us season after season to play great football and become the new arsenal and not win anything like they did for a period.

You can't be outstanding if you fail to take your chances. You can play well without scoring, but to be outstanding you have to score.

And I really don't think Barca are outstanding right now, yet they still beat you 3-0.
